Clean, newly remodeled, simple no frills and nice service. Reasonable dog fee. Just too bad that dog owners that stay don't pick up after their own pet.

My son and I needed a place to stay the night on our way to the Black Hills in SD. This place was so comfortable, and the staff was very friendly! Highly recommend!

TV was hard to figure; no guide, only one channel it seemed. Remote did nothing. Pillows ranged from okay to disgustingly lumpy. Nice that there was microwave & fridge, but sadly no closet, hangers or iron. Window had screen but didn’t open. Elevator out of service for portion of stay. Good: it was clean.

First time in a Microtel. I think, because the facility was recently updated, the room was in great condition. Not sure if the name has anything to do with it but, the room was a bit small. Not much room around the bed. A relative stayed in another Microtel and said the double queen rooms were more spacious. The price was fair. I would stay there again.

My stay at the Microtel is always great. Always clean and very comfortable. Building renovations were being done, new paint and furniture! No construction noise at all and no mess.

The hotel was in the process of being remodeled, so the 3rd floor was finished. The room was brand new. It had everything we needed except for the blow dryer (which I was given at the desk). A very professional young man named Matthew gave us all the details about breakfast etc When asked he gave us information about viewing the Sandhill Cranes. The only caveat was the noise I heard from the elevator, ice machine and pop machine when our room was situated across from the elevator.

We had a pet friendly room that was very, very small. It was very clean and the front desk persons (check-in and check-out) were very professional and courteous. The lady that made and maintained the breakfast bar was a wonderful person that went above and beyond. We would stay here again if we could get a bigger pet friendly room.

i travel through Kearney at least 4 times a year going from Colorado to Michigan and back. This was my first time staying at the Microtel in Kearney. What a lovely experience. Despite being in the middle of a renovation, the facility was clean and definitely upgraded. From the time I checked in until I left my key at the desk checking out, the staff members were friendly, courteous, and made me feel like I was a family member coming home for a visit. Superb! The room was very nicely decorated, clean, and everything appeared new. My only complaint, and it is really a personal thing, I wasn't real happy with the placement of the bath towels on the little shelf beneath the sink. It wasn't convenient to get to before or after taking a shower. There were a couple of hooks to hang them on close to the bathtub but again, lots of water dripping off you when you reached out to get one. Other than that, I loved my stay and will definitely recommend this place to family and friends and will return in the future. Thank you for a good night's rest.

Pet fee $25 per so with 2 dogs $50 steep I wish hotels would make the fees clear. Under construction so only entrance was front and no pet area convenient bed very comfortable rooms clean pleasant staff quick checkin and great breakfast they had made on demand omelettes hotel immediately off exit for I80 will be excellent hotel when remodel done

We mistakenly had a handicapped room with an unhandy shower. The room was a bit in need of updating.

Very clean,comfy beds but lacking spaces for luggage.No closets,drawers or shelves! No place for toiletries in bathroom.Breakfast was great as was Pauline the breakfast lady.Front desk staff awesome! Cunningham restaurant was awesome and very busy..make reservation if it’s prime time.

Donna the night shift representative was absolutely fantastic! We were driving across the country from CO to CT with our pup. Arrived late and tired and got up early before dawn and she greeted us both times with a welcome smile and total focus on helping us with whatever we needed. Professional, friendly, wonderful and put out a great breakfast!! The bes, a keeper!!

This was an overnight stay for us. We rented 3 rooms, Staff was very friendly, rooms were spacious and clean. We had a first floor room for our dog which worked out great. The breakfast area was well stocked and the attendant kept this area very clean. I booked another night for when we pass through again. Mexican restaurant across the street has good food.

Great staff! I left medication there and was very distressed. A staff member at the desk went to the room himself and retrieved that and a couple other items as well. What a relief!

The hotel is in the process of being renovated. We stayed on the 3rd floor that had already been completed and it was very, very impressive. Very nice. Breakfast was superb, maybe the best that we have had on our trip to the west coast and back.

Television didn't work. Front desk attendant unable to fix. No refund or compensation offered. Will not stay again.

We've stayed at this Microtel a lot in the past and it's always been clean and comfortable. This time, the room was a little less clean than normal, and there weren't nearly as many options for breakfast. The staff was very nice though as usual. The hotel is undergoing renovations, so maybe that has something to do with it.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and well maintained overall (though they are about to start a renovation). Rooms were very quiet despite us being on the first floor near the desk. Requested an accessible room and it met our needs. Only complaint is the shower curtains were too short, spilling water on the bathroom floor in the accessible shower, which is particular hazardous when you are mobility impaired.

We stayed on one of the newly renovated floors and it was very nice. Breakfast was good, close to retaurants and fuel stops. Very clean and quiet.

The man who helped us checked in was very friendly, informative and helpful. The hotel is very dog friendly, comfortable and clean. We stayed one night as we drove home from a 16 hour road trip. There are lots of food choices around and has as well.
