8 / 10Eccellente·mag 2026
Property has been upgraded downstairs and the restaurant and bar area are lovely as is the outside courtyard. When you go upstairs it’s apparent that an upgrade is still required. Our room - 3 - overlooked a very busy main road and the secondary double glazing did nothing to keep the constant traffic noise at bay. There are two windows in that’s room. And they are old and rotten. Triple glazed windows required. Carpets need replacing. Bathroom has been upgraded and is very pleasant but b&b charge of £155 a night is excessive for that room as it is. Food was very good.

The rooms are small but comfortable with clean modern en-suite facilities. The restaurant food is first class and all the staff are delightful.
