Toe nails on the floor, broken table patched with silicon instead of glue, dog bit me while entering the hotel. And it smelled bad.

Room itself was clean. Service in all aspects was awful. Destiny the front desk woman was extremely rude and not helpful whatsoever and it took almost an hour just to get checked in.

Fortunately a one night stay as the room is only serviced every other day. Very poor. Needs renovating. Photos look better than the reality.

The room was very dirty. The sheet came loose during the night, exposing a gross matress cover. Pics attached. There were trains blowing horns all night long. Breakfast ick... not worth it, and disappointing for a previously stellar brand.

First surprise was pet fee one night$75. I travel a lot Hilton owned especially in a smaller town is usually $50 till 4 nights are stayed. So much for policy😳😳😳
When I opened my room door the smell hit me ( vomit and alcohol) like a bar bathroom!!! The room was superficially clean, but all the corners had lots of dust and debris. Shower towel rack was broken. Right next to highway and noise was also a factor. This is my first negative review. Hampton you can do better!!!!!

The disabled friendly room feature is great. What will be nice is to add hashbrown or other vegetarian items in breakfast and also reduce wastage of plates and such. Too much use-and-throw

When I jumped into the shower I looked at the shower walls and they were full of hair. Looks like they just wiped and left hair on the walls. Not a good experience. I had to clean it myself.

We opted out of the daily housekeeping service, which was fine overall, except for one situation. There were no towel bars to hang wet towels, and the weather was damp, so by the end our our four-day stay we just had a pile of soggy towels in the bathroom. Having to call a housekeeper is not the best solution for this problem.
We also had to request (three times) a second chair for our room-- it only had one, and there were two people registered.
The beds were very comfortable!

This is a good place it's clean I didn't have a big problem with noise like there has been some other complaints with. Bed was comfortable temperature was good other than the fact that because of the way the room is set up the bathroom doesn't get terribly warm. I was on the fourth floor and literally the hot water took over 5 minutes to get hot. Yes I timed it. But once it got there it was decent. For the price that you pay for this place they probably should work on the hot water a little bit cuz that is a big thing with people. Not a ton of food around to go eat at but there are some places. Easy on and off the freeway. As far as other places in Bakersfield this is probably one of the better places to stay.

We stayed here to be close to family for 2 nights. I expected better from a Hampton Inn. The bed was comfortable but the sheets kept pulling out of the corners, the bathroom faucet was hard to turn off and on, the thermostat wasn't calibrated correctly so we had to keep messing with it. Also it did not have a fan only seting which would have been nice to drown out the VERY NOISY freeway. So sleeping was quite disrupted. The breakfast was better than most places and over all the hotel was clean and it had large elevators which is nice when you are using their luggage cart. Due to the freeway noise permeating the room, we won't stay here again.

We hardly had a good night sleep due to trash company picking up trash bins early at 5:30 am by the rear side of building next to Starbucks and also you can hear the train whistle twice at night. wife said is the My Cousin Vinny Hotel now😁.

Pretty rough hotel! No soap in the bathroom, super loud air conditioner. The air conditioner would run and then when it would stop blowing air, it would just whine for about 4 minutes before stopping. It's pretty tough to sleep with that going on! The mini fridge whined all night as well, so we had to unplug it. The hotel is facing the direct sun, so we pulled the shade down during the day, but it was still so bright and uncomfortable. The people next door were super loud, it's like we could hear everything! I think the walls were made of cardboard.

Very nice front desk staff! Friendly and pleasant. Even shared about the Dennys discount which was very thoughtful. Very nice hotel room. The room was nice and cold with the a/c when getting in. There was a microwave and fridge which is awesome. Spacious bathroom and great that it has shampoo, conditioner, and body wash pumps in the shower. Perfect combination of the ideal hotel room. Thank you for your hospitality!
