Great location

The staff checking me in was so friendly and personable! He really made me feel welcomed. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The property could use some cleaning up as there was trash about like empty booze bottles. And the hotel is ready for updating. But it fit my needs and I had no complaints with my stay.

It’s was decent for most part. Found toenails on the chair that were left there. Access is not the best. Incidental hold is wayyy to much. 150 a night is not necessary and always love the statement when u check out you automatically get it back. That is not true takes days. Front desk clerk claimed it was high because they are off the highway and a college town. No excuse we have stayed in over 30 hotels in the last year and none of them were that much.

Facility was clean. Check in personnel was very friendly and very helpful. Breakfast wasn’t the best. Gravy was cold. Top drawer of the TV stand/ dresser had nails sticking out of the front. Kind of dangerous. Just needs some attention. Overall, a pretty nice experience.

We have had 3 not so great experiences at 2 hotels and a Air Bnb in the past 3 months. Was referred by multiple KU parents this was nice to stay. Young men at desk so nice and considerate. Definately would stay again.

We stayed at the Comfort Inn in Lawrence, Kansas. Check-in: Fri Dec 1st; check-out: Sun Dec 3rd, 2023. Rebecca and Cole at the front desk were very kind, and courteous. The hostess in the breakfast area was attentive and efficient. Issues: 1) The television did not play anything except MTV when we tried to watch it the evening of Dec 2. The front desk attendant Rebecca came to our room and tried to fix it; she changed batteries in the remote and tried other things, still with no success. 2) Due to the TV issue at approximately 9:00 pm the night before our checkout, the staff said we may move to a different room. NOTE: To move our belongings out of one room and into another starting around 9:00 pm would put us past the time to begin watching a movie. 3) The turntable in the microwave does not turn. As we popped popcorn in our Weight Watcher microwave popper, the popcorn burnt in one section. This also left a permanent black area in our Weight Watchers popper. I emailed Mehul Parikh (general mgr of this property) at [email protected] (as Cole suggested) a photo of our burnt popcorn popper as well as a description of these issues. Mehul stated on Dec 3: "I will check and see if there is any possibility to offer some disc. Will get back with you by tomorrow" By Dec 6, I had still not heard back from Mr. Parikh; so, I sent him a reminder email that same day. As of Dec 17, Mehul still has not emailed me back as he promised; and, he has not provided any refund.

Good stay and excellent customer service at breakfast.

Good breakfast, quite, need the carpet cleaned in room. But overall good

Stay was just. Quick overnight, but room was clean and everything was fine. Have stayed here before which is why I chose this property again over others I’ve stayed while in Lawrence

This place is newly remodeled, all nice, large room with high ceilings, art on the walls, ice available, great hot breakfast…all the things and fog comfy.

The staff was nice. The rooms were nice enough. But partially updated while other parts not. Room was spacious. The hall carpets were very dirty. Tile cracked. The walls in our room were cracked and patch work applied to one. There isn’t anything within walking distance of the hotel. There is a building being constructed next door. It was overall ok.I was floored they charged me $251 for Friday night!!!! But for the price, no I wouldn’t stay again. Definitely not worth the over $600 we paid.

Our room smelled funky and the breakfast wasnt amazing but it was fine for one overnight destination.

We needed some place to crash overnight. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. I especially liked the bathroom. Nice to have a tub every now and then. Thanks for a lovely stay.

It took more than 30 minutes for us to check in because hotels.com had not paid the hotel for our reservation. My wife and I, and the hotel staff, all had to hop on the phone and customer service chat to try and resolve the issue. Then the hotel manager said VERY loudly in front of us "This is why people should never use third party websites!" The hotel staff was rude and unapologetic about the entire situation. It was absolutely unacceptable. The hotel is very shabby with broken curtains in the hallway and quite a bit of damage throughout the property. My wife and I had put the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door, and the housekeeper STILL KNOCKED and woke us both up. I told the front desk staff about the issue and they didn't seem concerned or apologetic. All in all, the whole experience was terrible. And much of that was to do with hotels.com not doing their part with our reservation. I'm not sure we will continue to use your site for booking hotels.

Had a great stay. Everyone was veru friendly, rooms were comfy, breakfast was great. Nice experience!

Black mold in the bathroom. Hardly any water pressure in the bathroom sink. Shower fixtures were loose when turning the water on and off. Terrible smell (damp and musty smell) throughout the room

This was a nice hotel for the money. The only bad thing was there was a lot of noise all night from street traffic.

Location was great, parking was easy. The lobby and breakfast area clean and nice variety for breakfast. All staff were kind to me and my kids. Con the pool area needs better ventilation it smelled strongly of something (not chlorine)

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. There were nice options for hot and cold breakfast. This is a great place to stay in Lawrence, and I would happily stay here again.

They have construction going on around the facility, no fault of the hotel. hotel was clean, staff was nice. no complaints from us.

It was a great stay! The service, the room, the pool, the breakfast, compared to others was great!!! Will stay again 100%
