I had a wonderful stay at the Hotel St. Helena. A beautifully restored 1881 historic boutique hotel captures so much of Napa Valley’s classic charm and history. The proprietors couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful.
My room was cozy and comfortable, The hotel has just reopened after a closure for restoration; preserving its original glory while bringing it into the 21st century .
This location is right on Main Street in St. Helena, walking distance to great restaurants, boutique shops, and wine tasting rooms.
Other thoughtful touches include a small garden seating area and a vintage style bar serving local wines.
As an historic Napa Valley hotel with personality, prime location, and friendly hosts, the Hotel St. Helena is a solid and charming choice.

This was a great hotel. Historic charming with a lot of character. centrally located in the middle of St Helena close to restaurants, wineries, shops and art galleries. the hotel is very clean and well maintained. The owner was very helpful and friendly as were the staff. We will definitly be staying here anytime we visit Napa Valley. And an added bonus were the Tesla EV superchargers located in the public parking behind the hotel.
