Posh is a nice hostel.I have stayed at posh 2 stays.I have had 2 thefts.I will not leave anything of real value.I will ask my bank for a safe deposit box in the future.Do all employees have access to lockers?.Be careful! P.S. Can a person bring their own lock?.

Hostel is in the thick of things on south beach/ocean drive and collins Ave. You are in the middle of the party. Checkin, access everything was smooth. Staff changed my bed next day when the lock didn't work smoothly.
Toilets aren't cleaned early enough in the morning; Lights are out until 10.30 am and staff come to clean only around that time. Toilet was a mess on one of the mornings (was a Sunday, they may not have had cleaning staff on Sunday; I don't know); thankfully it was my checkout day and didn't use it on that morning.
I have stayed in dorm style hostels before. But Posh was little odd as all dorm beds were crammed in 3 huge halls. The upper bed doesn't leave enough height to the ceiling in some of the beds and is a safety hazard. Also feel the space is a fire safety hazard; no way they can evacuate easily.
They had a pool which I didn't use as I was busy exploring the city. I visited Key West on one of the days; the coach I booked picked me in front of white claw hotel which was convenient in the morning.

I checked in with Kat at the front desk of white law hotel and she was totally awesome ! She was super friendly and honestly made me feel at home and like I had known her for awhile ! She was great ! Thank you all.

I got food poisoning from a different establishment my first night there and the staff member was really helpful to me. I really appreciated him going above and beyond. I was able to stay the rest of my trip and everything was good. The cleaning people did a good job cleaning every day. I was in a girls dorm and it would have been better to have been able to close the door for privacy to dress.

They do not let people with florida driver's license check in. I was denied and they still charged me the stay. AVOID

Posh Beach Hostel is an amazing Hostel! The location is really in the heart of south beach! Everything is close by 7/11, CVS pharmacy, Clubs, Restaurants Etc. The atmosphere is a modern chill safe, clean and secure vibe. It has all the main amenities one needs in a Hostel! They have a full fridge, microwave and kitchen sink. The pool is a major added bonus with the beach just about a 7 minute walk. They have a living room TV area. They offer a free Happy Hour daily at one of there sister properties which is a great way to meet people. But everyone is forgetting that this is a hostel and you have to be respectful and mindful of others, they have rules you have to follow. I would recommend this hostel to anyone. I've stayed in others hostels around the world and this is a really good one.

My first Hostel with a pool ... Wow ! Fantastic EXCELLENT Location ... I would stay here again in a heartbeat if I didn't learn about another hostel up the street that my bike tour guide pointed out ... it's 10 times better for the same price . Not as good of a location as POSH but every bit as safe or safer and only 5 minutes up the strip by bicycle.

I have stayed here in the past Pre Pandemic and in thr past ive had an awsome time.
Checked in and did not use the locker because I was going to Orlando so I left the key with the check in gentleman.
When I came back the key was missing and I had to be put in the 1st dorm room which initially I did not request because of the lound noise from the kitchen area at night. The TV stayed at the maximum volume up until the lights went out at 11pm. Noticed quite a few bunks had people sleeping in them together which is not allowed.
Even though there are rules it has become very lax there.

Hotels.com isn’t helping me get a refund and it’s been a pain. The hostel was also not well built in my opinion. Mostly the bathrooms, but the beds need hooks, charging stations, better storage, etc. The pool was closed the whole time.

This place is so neat & it is not everywhere that covers for you when Expedia screws up the reservation like they did! They saved me from literally having to sleep on the beach or somewhere that wasn’t as comfortable as a bed.

My criticism s would be guest the checked out left so much food in the fridge their was little space for guest that were actually staying there. Microwave is super loud and at night the clerk turns the TV down so low you can't here anything. Some of the guest were slobs ,my heart goes out to your cleaning ladies they deserve a raise for dealing with all that. See you next year!

Location excellent. Place horrible. The water wasn’t warm at all, guests are very messy, noisy, too many people sleeping there.

You basically pay to be in a homeless shelter format stay. Thete are rats running around. And homeless people in front if the door. As a women I felt unsafe and security made me go through the back door instead of making the homeless person go. They have weird rules which totally entails that there was a lot of problems previously. No security. Everything is open, like the bathroom and the showers. There is absolutely no security if you shower anyone can come in. You can hear everything if people go to the bathroom. The kitchen was a mess and completely disgusting. I dont even understand why this property is listed here. You need to make your bed and they dont even do that for you for 100$ a nigh on a bunkbed with 56 other people with NO PRIVACY ! No changing room but they have a rule about not being naked. You pay so much money for no reason at all. They are sketchy and cheap and are here just for your money. Pay an extra 10$ a night and go somewhere decent

I wasn't able to make my trip to Miami due to being sick. I tried to call the hotel to let them know and to cancel my reservation but was unsuccessful... They refuse to give me my money back... Please help!

Well there was a problem initially with my reservation and charges and then after a few days the ceiling late from the tropical storm but they made amends by giving me a great room down the hall with a Street view

Really bummed because we were looking forward to staying here. After we did the "check in tour" we decided to stay elsewhere. Not mentioned is that this is like general population at prison. i have stayed at hostels before? but nothing like this. Also, you can only use the pool until 6pm, which was another huge bummer. We also called the day before and were told we could pay for early check in, but when we showed up they refused early check in.

The posh has a great location. Everyone is very friendly and happy to help with whatever you need. I didn’t know what I was walking into at first, but guest were respectful, fun, and sociable. The living environment is clean and well maintained.

Too much noise at night past 1am to 4am. No crontrol of loud patrons staying there. Clogged bathroom showers. Paid for breakfast which i I didn't receive.
