The management is very nice.

It was okay. The area isn't in the best part of Modesto & I wish I would've paid more attention prior to booking. When arriving, I asked the front desk about possibly switching rooms since one person didn't end up coming on the trip & without checking said, "no rooms were available." In my opinion, he just wanted to get the most money out of me & since the room was pre-booked, I had no choice but to stay there. However, I now know better & will choose another motel when I'm back in the area.

Place was okay , just to noisy with other guest hard to sleep with people yelling and slamming doors

Its very comfortable to stay there. I love that my chihuahua can be there but not such a bad area tbh. The gates to rhe parking close at 12am and reopen at 6am if I'm not mistaken. So car is safe ^_^ rooms do have wear and tear but nothing to crazy to where it would cause me to request a new room or a refund.

The motel 6 has small and dirty rooms with poor customer service. Additionally, the area surrounding the motel is unsafe. It is recommended to avoid this location.

It was cheaper than anything els around down town. For the price it was nice. Coffee was complementary and it was good. It was cozy and the tv was in a good location. We slept good.

First of all, the building is in need of major upkeep. But the worst part was our non-smoking room reaked of cigarette smoke. There was no available parking when we arrived. Walls extemely thin, we woke up to another patront yelling about the service. The sheets were clean. I understand this building is in downtown. But the surrounding neighborhood was much better kept than this motel.

Everything! Smelled and on and on just a bad run dowlike pot in the hallways loud music at 3am.

The staff did not give my security deposit back because they said the room smelled like smoke. And the staff ran her fingers through the window and said that their was ashes but didn't want to show me. What is stupid is I DON'T SMOKE CIGARETTES! I told my them that and they still didn't give me my deposit back.

Property is in downtown and close to pubs

My room was clean and most of all quiet. I needed something close to Doctors Hospital and this was close and affordable. I'm a smoker and I've stayed in many non-smoking hotels/motels which require me to go off property to smoke. This is the safest I've ever felt as the smoking area is protected along with with everything else. This may be a "no frills" motel but they go to great lengths to make sure their guests feel safe. And, on top of everything else, staff is pleasant, accommodating and good humored. I doubt I will ever be in Modesto again but if I am and I need a room close to the hospital, I will stay here. Oh, bring shampoo and conditioner!

I did not end up staying. Upon arrival, I was told that my room would be $50 more per night, even after I showed them my reservation. I was told the reason was that I had a two bed and that they charge for 4 people for a two bed, even though my reservation was for 2 people and it was clear that there was only two of us checking in. We decided to stay elsewhere. As we were leaving, we heard him charge the same price to the person behind us for a one bedroom. Stay away from this one.

I had stated in Motel 6 in different cities and all are clean, but this hotel smell cigarettes, the room was dirty, the fridge it was leaking water. So sad

The staff was very nice. I arrived 10min before check-in and had to wait until after check-in to enter my room because housekeeping had finished cleaning. Room was cery clean when i was finally able to enter. Parking is limited and there are cars that are broken down or undrivable taking up the limited parking spaces. There was a large crack/hole in the floor of my hotel room right outside the bathroom door that caused me to trip and fall. I told staff about this issue upon check out. Aside from the staff being very nice i would not stay at this hotel or recommend anyone else to stay there.

My room was mostly clean and I only stayed for one night. The area didn't seem safe, but the property had a gate that gets locked up because of potential break-ins by thieves. Nothing bad happened to me though! :-) Didn't need to check out at the front desk, just left my keys in the room for the maid when I was ready to leave.

We stayed here after a long trip for a funeral the room was clean. But I didn’t feel safe and its was way to noisy couldn’t sleep at night it should be rated a motel for adults only not family

I always love the service there and it is awesome with the store next door. the employees are always nice and greet you with respect and ask you if there is anything they can help with.

All good, the room was clean and comfortable.
The only minor thing – instead of putting a hold on my credit card as a deposit, they charged me. Had to follow up to get the refund.

The service was excellent, the room was clean and well organized, the property is simple but well maintained, I enjoyed my stay! l As soon as I arrived to check in, there was a discrepancy between my name and the name sent by EXPEDIA to the hotel, but the problem was soon resolved with a lot of goodwill.
