The staff were very friendly and helpful the room was immaculate clean and fresh, it was close proximity to city centre and easy to get around, and a hot spa bath every evening was ideal in the cold weather

We have stayed at Ashwood Manor Lodge before. The rooms are spacious and feel fresh and well looked after. The bed is comfy and the sheets crisp. Check-in is straight forwards. The "kitchen" is sparsely equipped but has all we need.
Side comment: the microwave is in a wall cupboard and slightly too high to comfortably reach in for my 172cm height and not safely reachable for my smaller partner.
A large supermarket (Pak n save) is in walking distance. Restaurants are close by and also medical amenities. To the main shopping street in the city centre it is an approx 15 mins walk.

Loved how clean and fresh our room was and the shower was like standing under a water blaster , would highly recommend staying at this motel/lodge and will definitely be going back 10 out of 10
