This hotel is what it is - it’s not 5* and it’s not luxury but what it is is a charming cottage style hotel with the best view of Bromo! It is also next to the secret passage down to the sea of sand which avoids you paying the ‘entrance fee’ to Bromo. Yes it’s cold, you’re on a mountain so don’t expect heating for £30 a night but you get a cosy blanket and duvet. The bathroom has an actual toilet which is more than many of the others have but the shower is a hose in the wall which we didn’t use. The breakfast was tasty, classic rice, noodles and omelette with tea coffee and juice. All in all I would say stay here if you are going to mt Bromo and if you want luxury forget it as you won’t find it in this tiny village in the middle of no-where but that adds to the charm!

Not sure if there are nicer hotels in this cute little town, but only choose this location because of the good view. Breakfast was actually good as well.
