Great St Helen Hotel

Location

The hotel is ideally located within the City of London for my various meetings.

The air conditioning did not work properly in my room and was very ineffective due to the warm weather. The adjacent corridor and communal areas were very hot and I felt unwell whilst in these areas earlier today due to the ambient temperature! The bedroom TV set was not properly tuned in the access terrestrial channels to watch various channels, so I was unable to wind down watching TV. The raised bed and mattress is too high in the room which is not suitable and sufficient to enjoy my stay what with the room being too hot!

Posizione eccezionale, vicinissimo Liverpool St. Station, alla City, alla Torre di Londra e al Towe Bridge a alla new London (Brick Lane, Spitalfields ecc)

Camera molto piccola ma pulita e confortevole

The room was rather poorly maintained and only averagely cleaned. The shower floor had a huge crack, and, because of my next point below, I had to look under the bed and behind the minibar (to find other plugs), these areas were so poorly cleaned it is quite disgraceful. After the second day none of my electrical plugs worked which was a huge inconvenience. Only the one where the minibar was attached to and the one in the bathroom (which cant be used for high voltage). Unfortunately I couldn't mention this to anyone as I did not want my room to be accessed by maintenance while I was away, and I was away every day from 7am to 10pm. The minibar could also not be opened without a huge wobble, as it was entirely unstable.
