Highly unprofessional stuff they booked me in and then they said they would accept my ID and did not when I was there left me homeless and cold on the street thank God a friend was able to get me into a hotel or I would have been on the street after booking through Expedia to them I arrived and nothing they said was right would never ever recommend them

Took an hour to check in because some French guy didn’t know what he was doing. I lost patience and left and got another hotel. This place is dirty and full of people that don’t know what they are doing. Worst place I have ever stayed

6 bed dorm crowded and inadequately ventilated during respiratory virus season (window needed to be closed due to traffic noise), 8 bed was roomier. Parking expensive as had to pay $12.50 for every night. Liked the pancake breakfast and location….

I can’t believe this place is licensed for hosting travellers ! How did they get a permit with such terrible rooms ? In addition the price is too high for no clear reason. I am gratifying stayed there only two nights not more.

The location was perfect as it was walking distance to a very nice area of Kelowna.
Surprised to find out that we had to pay extra to park our car in their parking lot!
The breakfast was included (make your own pancakes), but there were no other options.

Location is excellent!! Close to transport, restaurants and lakeside beach area.
Place is clean, beds are comfortable. Air conditioning works great. You even get breakfast.

I liked the location and overall convenience of being downtown. I also found the cleanliness of my room to be acceptable and the kitchen was well-organized.
I gave this a 3 because I found the staff to be very cold towards me. I understand that I made a huge oversight with my ID, and that it's not fair for people that have proven they're from outside of Kelowna, but I didn't feel like I was being accommodated through the process. I felt like I was being condemned for making a mistake, and I don't think that's an impression you want to give to prospective customers. I've learned my lesson about ensuring my ID is up-to-date, and that there's value in paying more for basic human decency.

this was my first day at a hostel. I was very impressed with the cleanliness and opportunities within the building. The clientele were friendly and self responsible.

Appreciated this hostel and the hard working staff, nice breakfast and central location. Lots of good hiking and cycling in Kelowna + region, good trails brochure at tourist info centre.

The property is a hostel. There are private rooms and shared rooms with lockers. The bathrooms are shared so some people don't pick up after themselves; staff are not to blame for this. All my needs were met and I slept well. The fully equipped kitchen is a very large area with an attached dining area, study area, outdoor patio and billiards table. The atmosphere is exceptionally friendly and you will meet people from France, Germany, Britain, Kenya, Canada and the US.

Comfy beds, appreciate the free breakfast… but you can hear people all through the nights stomping in the hallways. Bring ear plugs

Samesun was probably the most expensive hostel I’ve stayed in but nowhere near the nicest. It had a good size kitchen and a nice area to eat outside but the washrooms and rooms were very dated. The car park was small so we had to park next door which was fortunately free on weekends.

We are an older couple and didn’t do enough research on the property. So it was a different experience for us. All in all it wasn’t bad the double bed a bit small.

Overall a good hostel. I did find a couple hairs in my bed which made me question the cleanliness but it did overall seem to be clean. The staff were very friendly. The bagged breakfast was nice as well. I would stay again. It's a great value!

I liked the prices at this time because just the other day the same room was $74. The doors between floors and into rooms are very LOUD at night when people are trying to sleep. I think the needs to be a QUIET TIME.

One of my sheets had long hairs on it. I just slept on top of the one that didn't. I complained about noise in my dorm at 130am from the dormmates after politely asking them to quiet down 4 times. The night clerk didn't enforce the hostel's quiet time against these people but instead just backed away from the situation. When I asked for my money back so I could try to sleep in my car, the staff member refused. Very poorly done. I felt he should have told these people that it was past midnight and the dorms were meant to be quiet at that point. It's a bit of a dive, honestly, and no not all hostels are like that.

Great coffee!!!! Bagel and fruit provided for breakfast. Kitchen and fridges for preparing food. Plenty of hot water for showers. Fresh towels everyday. Pleasant backyard courtyard. Only complaint would be that courtyard closes too early….. 10 pm.
