After checking in, the smoke alarm kept beeping. I reported it right away, from desk said they would send someone to fix it…after the second call I demanded to change rooms. As soon as I opened the door of that room the stench of cigarette smoke almost knocked me out. I was finally located to a suitable room over an hour after check in. Manager said she would comp me Marriott points…I’m still waiting.

The room was spacious and partial Manhattan view which was satisfactory to me. There was a problem with a lock of the bathroom and I stayed there 15 minutes until maintenance came. It should have fixed before receiving a guest. Bag keeping charge was 10USD per one bag which I did not expect. The receptionist was very friendly and flexible which turned my impression.

Good stay. Room comfortable, easy to get around the neighborhood, staff were descent. A bit nonplussed but ok. GM was non responsive when advised to reach out for a consideration. Overall stay was good.

we came for a funeral in the area. The staff were friendly. The room was clean. My only complaint, was that the card reader on the room door was somewhat detached so the wires were exposed. I mentioned it to the staff and they said they would have someone come and check it out in the morning. The card reader is still worked but I guess I was worried about it falling off while we were there.

Great location and close to places I needed to visit for work in Long Island City. Easy and smooth check in. King room was clean, quiet and spacious. A la carte breakfast offered plenty of options for what you'd expect for grab and go or sit down with a family - bagels, cereal, waffles, sausage & egg muffins, coffee, pastries, juices - all conveniently located right in the lobby without having to go out for breakfast. Great noodle shop 1 block away too.

I arrived an hour earlier than expected. They allowed us to check in at that time which i really appreciated after a long Amtrak ride. I loved the text messages. They texted abd asked if the room was clean or if we needed anything. I asked for the pots and hot cooking plate and someone brought it to our room promptly. The overall ambiance and decor was nice. It was clean. The hotel is in a great location to walk for things such as coffee or food. We also had the room with a Manhattan view, i wish a king size bed was available for the Manhattan View... I will always make this my stay since i have to travel to NY monthly.

Our spacious room slept 6, but had only 1 chair. The bachelor kitchen was poorly equipped. There was absolutely nothing cosy or fancy about the room. The soap in the bathroom was horrible (the shower gel was fine). On the plus side, breakfast was decent, the location was great (1 block from subway), the room was surprisingly quiet, the beds were comfy, the gym was good, and overall it was very good value for the money.

The location is perfect for taking the subway. Pretty decent breakfast and a great coffee spot right across the street. Staff is very courteous and helpful. Very nice place for a reasonable price.

The property is easy to find, the staff was very professional and knowledgable, the room was clean and up to date. the only remark I have to make, the options for the breakfast were limited. Overall, for the money I give 4 stars.

Hotel and room were clean, quiet and in a good location for public transportation. First night when checking in was a bit strange as there was an issue with the Expedia payment and the man at check in wanted to charge us at first. Would stay again as it met expectations for what we wanted.

Large room with space for everything, great breakfast, friendly professional staff, good workout room. Parking on street, close to subways and bus routes. Everything works and is clean and attractive. We will be back!

I have no idea why this place is rated so highly, as the suite I stayed in was absolutely disgusting. I rarely take the time to write reviews so consider yourself forewarned and go to one of the other highly superior residential hotels in the area. Trust me - you’ll be glad you did

It’s a good place to stay as it’s convenient to the subway station.Breakfast was eatable,but could have done it better (for few extra bucks).Frozen items ,long lines to use the toaster,cheap machine juices…It was too noisy as some road work happened to be near the hotel.To hoave them hold on your luggage (if you have your flight late afternoon and don’t want to carry it through all the streets in Manhattan),it costs waaaay too much .$20/ per item..We had 5backpacks ,so it was not worth the cost.A little disappointed because of this…I already paid for the hotel with all the hotel fees…

I hated it I was “upgraded” from a queens size bed room to a room with 2 beds and I was with my girlfriend it was embarrassing walking into a room with 2 beds

Great option! The staff is very friendly. The hotel is clean, comfortable, breakfast has variety of options, beverages station very convenient. Apples available at front desk. Metro station one block away. Easy to get around. Rooms are spacious, microwave and fridge available. Being pet friendly is a PLUS!

We had a comfortable stay in the hotel. Friendly staff and good service which is a good point for the guest so they feel welcome and comfortable. So near the subway, no need to worry about public transit. The room has kitchen, plates and utensils, microwave and big refrigerator. Breakfast is also available and the one that we like was the sandwich/burgers with egg/cheese, egg/bacon and cheeseburger. Things that I don’t like was (1) not all plates&utensils were not clean but they said it was clean, and (2) bfast area is not that spacious enough to accommodate the guest. You need to wait and there was a long line from 7:30-9. Though they posted the busy time during bfast so guest will be aware.

The room was awesome!
I have to say that both Chris and Omar are standup guys. They made my family and I feel at home. As far as front desk goes, I’ve never had such an amazing customer service experience. The cleaning was friendly as well.
I would recommend to my family and friends for future trips.
