I selected a room with one bed, solo traveller, but was given a room with 2. The pet friendly hotel charges extra for dogs over 20lbs. I paid $30 for my boy and with 2 beds he had no room. I towed an open trailer covered by a tarp and was asked to park across the street in front of a run down sketchy building from the hotel, my 50” TV in its box was visible for the taking. Gladly my household contents were untouched in the morning after a restless sleep. There are 2 rooms up front beside the office, one that was assigned to me, with limited space for a few cars for the lobby and a whole stretch of 20 vacant rooms along the side of the building with no vehicles parked there. They gave me closest room at their convenience for maid service. As a result I made 3 trips into the room and 3 trips back to my car on a busy street when I could have parked right in front of a different room down a ways, and monitored my trailer through the window. No security cameras were found installed. The bath tub was odd, not flat. It had a hazardous slant that could potentially cause a slip and fall. But it was clean so I opted for for a soak instead. Beds were nice. The TV had no Closed Captioning option for the deaf and hard of hearing.

During one night after 10.30 pm there was no control over the noise of party groups in the pool area

We visited in July where the temperatures were averaging around 35 degrees. This location and it's layout were perfect for hiding away from the heat and enjoying the local area. The central pool and patio were always bustling with activity and the facility was quite friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend especially if you're traveling in groups or with pets.

Hotel is nice, really cute courtyard and rooms were comfortable and clean. Front desk was extremely rude Watch what they charge you for pets and early check in. We dont mind paying at all as its an extra service although she charged us way more than the rate thats posted right in the front lobby.

Although obviously some upgrades were done it is still an old hotel, rooms a bit run down, the white towels and linen were kind of brown/grey and obviously not bleached! Best thing, courtyard was the best , pool and kid pool good, lots of tables and umbrellas - outdoor furniture in good condition! Also a bit out of the downtown but 15/20 mins walk along g the main streeet and lake! 3 minutes walk to public beach!

Good value for the money, especially July in Osoyoos

This was our first stay here, and Sahara Courtyard was way above our expectations! The motel is cute, super clean, and so well kept. It’s lush and tropical, with beautiful plants everywhere and it feels like a little resort! There are ample patio tables and shade umbrellas, tons of lounge chairs, and a sparkling clean pool in the middle of the courtyard. There’s even a little shallow pool for kids. The staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms have everything you need. It’s a 2 minute walk to the public beach, and walking distance to restaurants. There is even a pub/liquor store right next door. We ended up staying an extra night, we were so happy, and will certainly be coming back again!

Lovely, well kept property. Room was updated, clean, comfortable and had everything needed right down to an iron. Staff were personable and friendly and everyone seemed to be having a wonderful vacation. There are some terrible motels in the Okanagan but this is a real gem.

This property was a fabulous stay. We normally don’t stay in motels but this motel was awesome. I found it to be super clean. Our room was even tidied between days. We stayed in a two bedroom queen with kitchen. Staff was great. Beds were good. Price was outstanding. Everything we needed was in the room and more. Couldn’t ask for a better location. Pools were awesome. The lay out of the courtyard was great too. Honestly 5 star review on the entire place. Can’t wait to come back. Don’t hesitate on booking here. This place has great energy too.

Stay for a few days price is right place was clean. They could probably remove the carpets from the rooms and put in hardwood or tile. Would make a big difference in appearance. Will definitely come back. Location was great. Pool area was fun.

Clean and updated rooms including AC and mini fridge, working and good ice making machine , less then one block to the lake beach, near by walking food options including a The Sage Pub ( know for great pizza , I had their fish taco special , thumbs up!) and Liquor Store one building over by the lake . Clean pool and whirlpool, stayed in an outside room by the parking and road , inside court rooms would be my choice next time , better access to amenities and court yard . Will stay there again .

The staff were beyond rude and unacommadating. I had a family emergency and they wouldn’t allow me to even get a credit back for a room I couldn’t use. Horrible service.
