The first room they checked me into, I used the toilet to urinate in upon arrival and it overflowed. I told the lady at front desk and her Mother starts complaining to me that people use too much toilet paper. I explained to her that i didn't even use any paper at that time since i had just arrived there. Tried to make it sound like it was my fault. The older lady also was telling me how hard she works to keep the place clean and just complaining to me about it. Once they moved me to another room the rest of my stay was good. I would recommend they get something to set the small mini Fridge on instead of the floor. (These were the shorter shelf model fridges).

Check in was easy. I had a king room that was spacious and clean. Every room had a pair of chairs outside which was really nice. For a quick overnight stay it worked out fine.

A hair dryer, shampoo and conditioner would have been wonderful since I left those items at home. I had expected those basic items to be in the room. The carpet needs a good cleaning. My bottoms of my feet were black from walking from the bathroom to the bed after I had showered.

You get what you pay for. The bed was comfortable. The towels were skimpy. The owners are elderly and want to sell, but they keep the place up as well as they can.

Basic amenities. Nothing extra but very clean. Everything we needed for our weekend stay.

They stay was great

I was looking forward to our weekend stay at Starlite based on the majority of reviews. However, I was quickly disappointed by the condition of the door/lock upon arrival - the lock/knob was loose and did not feel very secure, even with the chain latched. The carpet and tile floors were visibly dirty/dingy and the walls in the bathroom were peeling and badly in need of attention. The beds were stiff and uncomfortable and the linens were rough and did not fit the beds appropriately. We did have an incident with the window blinds, which were cracked upon our arrival. Having a curious toddler, three of the slats broke when he attempted to look out the window, which we were admonished for the following morning by the owner and told we would be charged a fee. I pointed out that the amenities were in poor condition, but admitted that it is what it is and expected to pay the $20. Upon checkout, I was told that the fee was waived, "as you clearly had no intention to pay it." The comment was unwarranted and came off extremely rude. I can only assume it's a result of the times and probable staffing shortage, but we did not receive any housekeeping services nor clean towels/linens throughout our 3 night stay. I wouldn't have minded, except the towels were flimsy and the room humid (the air conditioner was sub-par), so we had damp towels to use all weekend. Overall, I would recommend any campground over booking another stay at the Starlite.

Staff was very welcoming. Room was clean, I appreciated the free passes to the resort and water park.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable, check in was fast & easy. We asked for a microwave in our room since we were staying for 4 days which we got both a microwave and a mini fridge. You are in walking distance from the strip which is a huge plus to be able to explore downtown and not pay for parking. They give you free tickets to Mt.Olympus and offer $20 Noah’s Ark Tickets. We will be coming back in the future! Only two cons, 1. On the weekend there is a ton more people staying so I had to park further away from our room than I wanted and had to walk to our room since the parking lot was completely full. During the weekday it was fine though. 2. There is no curtains only blinds so the street lights and hotels lights outside kept us up and then the sun woke us up early so I wish they had black out curtains over the blinds. We made it work though with putting our own blanket over the window to be able to sleep way better. They have an ice machine and ice buckets. They have a pool thats open 9am-10pm which we didn’t get to use since we were so busy but we did check it out as it was nice and clean. The rooms have a big dresser to use and a nice sized TV with free cable and wifi.

Staff was very friendly. Room was fine. Beds were comfortable. Our 2 bedroom suite was a good fit for our group. Window air conditioner kept us cool. Within walking distance to all the downtown shops, restaurants, etc. We received free passes to Mt. Olympus, which was a great surprise. To note, they only allow one vehicle per group in their parking lot so other vehicles need to be parked on the side street. But we had no issues.

Staff was friendly. Sheets were very thin along with the bath towels. Bugs in the windows. They allowed smoking in the pool area. Had to pay a 4% credit card fee, never was told that.

It's nice but 2nd bedroom had no AC if u like the cold plus the fridge and microwave should of been in the first room u walk in not the back room. The bathroom sink water was very slow going down so we had to shut water right away. Other then that it was you get what you pay for. People at front desk really nice though

The hotel itself isn’t that bad. It’s old, outdated and the beds aren’t that comfortable. Having to deal with the old lady was the absolute worst. Not friendly at all. She accused us of breaking her blind, which was already broke. She came in and closed our window when we were gone. She told us that it’s against the law to smoke in the room. My husband was smoking outside by the table that had an ashtray on it. We were they for our anniversary. We didn’t even stay the 2nd night because she upset my husband soo bad.

It was a cute and clean hotel. The owners were very nice.

Please do yourself a favor and skip this place. We walked in the room and walked right back out. No refund was offered. Extremely rude front desk lady. People were smoking Marijuana around and walking around half clothed. The room had a boarded up air conditioning unit. The bathroom had mold in it. Was not at all like it was described. I was extremely disappointed with the no customer service, plus they rented our room to someone else but we never got a refund.
