We stayed at Tappattoo for 5 days in early October 2023. The resort is spotless clean, with comfortable accommodations, spacious rooms with soft beds, and balconies overlooking the quaint beach area. It offers canoe and kayak and paddle boat rentals. The lake is quiet with no major traffic. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The food at the resort restaurant was truly excellent. We got free buffet breakfast as part of our stay. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone who loves the outdoors, nature trails, water sports, and general area exploration by car. It was all very lovely.

2nd time here! It was quiet and refreshing to be here. Kayaking was great. Close to Parry Sound if you like to visit.

The location on Otter Lake is lovely. There is a small beach and an indoor swimming pool. The room we stayed in was large, carpeted with a tv, small fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Breakfast was included in the reasonable price. The staff were friendly and helpful. The view from the breakfast room is an unobstructed view of the lake. The breakfast itself was buffet and okay. The room had a gas fireplace a comfortable bed and thankfully cotton sheets ( hate polyester) There were a few finishing touches that were missing… no plug cover for the air conditioning unit. The room was hot. The shower gave plenty of hot water but more water came out of the tap at the bottom than the basic shower head. The fan in the bathroom sounds like an airplane taking off and should be looked at.

Beautiful property on a private beach, decent breakfast and good, well-priced restaurant for dinner. Our room on the 3rd floor was large and had a nice view of the lake. But the a/c had problems, just the fan was working, not the cooling system. Quite uncomfortable in the early Sept. heat. The hallway carpeting was worn out and dirty, I hope it will be replaced soon. Very helpful and friendly staff, especially at the restaurant. A good experience overall, we will be back.

It is ok, but some rooms are not updated and have carpet from 30 years ago, old, nasty and stained. The lake views are nice though. But it is hit or miss with the rooms in terms of renovation and cleanliness. Our room had not working phone, fireplace, stained old carpet and dirty bathroom when we arrived.

The bedroom was not ready and dirty at 5:30 PM, the hostess proposed another room (guests were still there), the third room was ready ! For the restaurant we give 4.5 stars, friendly staff and service, good food and nice view !

Lovely two night stay. First visit. Great location and nice beach. Resort and rooms were very clean. Appreciated the complimentary breakfast and use of kayaks, canoes and pedal boats. Pool was great as well. Staff were very nice…and helpful. Definitely will be going back.

On water with boats etc you can use, nice beach. Restaurant was good and service is great! Rooms are all decorated nicely and we used the heated pool as well. Will come back

It was an amazing family vacation.

We, a family of four, had a pleasant stay. Although the room appears a bit worn and could use some updates, the resort was generally serene, tranquil, and clean. The well-maintained beach and indoor pool delighted the kids. However, the restaurant dinner didn't live up to our expectations considering the price and waiting time. Our food seemed to have been under the warming lights for a while, resulting in dry entrées. If you're seeking a summer weekend escape with your children, this is a wonderful choice.

It was more than I expected. I took my wife for her birthday for 3 days and it was one of our best experiences.

The location is great! The staff is friendly overall. The restaurant staff is scarce and not very attentive for the breakfast. The beach is nice, the equipment is in decent shape. The room’s cleanliness was ok. Lots of spiders webs and the floors weren’t clean. Overall it was enjoyable.

Excellent place for relaxing

Kids loved the indoor pool and inflatable island. They would go back in a second. I would have like to have seen the room revitalized. They are tired and would benefit from some sprucing up… I.e paint touched up. Service was optimal.

Our newly renovated room was beautiful, the only complaint was the bed was wobbly (but comfortable). Everything else was wonderful. We were there to celebrate our 50th anniversary and we enjoyed every minute. The food and service was very, very good.

The cleanliness of the Pool is below par. When checked out we were not given receipt for the stay. We were only given a receipt for a water bottle that we purchased.
