Lot of noise from outside such as people with loud music in the car, etc. The building is not soundproof.
The place looked dangerous with drunk people. clubs? Not good for a family to stay may be bt noisy and building not sound proof

Great stay and very clean comfy room. The pullout couch was as expected -uncomfortable with the bar hitting the lower back. I don’t know if there is anything to be done about that

The room was really nice and clean I did have a towel with a brownish stain on it though other than that it was good

Really nice and really clean and up to date hotel. Valet parking only. I have a Ram 3500 DRW and luckily there was an open air ParkMobile parking lot a block away.

Front dest clerk was wonderful! Set the tone for the whole visit and would recommend it to anyone staying in the area. Very nice hotel and surroundings!

Love the location and its proximity to many different dining options. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Front desk clerk Heaven went above and beyond to make me and my guests feel welcome. Kudos to him!

The main entrance was closed but had poor signage and caused me to walk an extra city block with all of my luggage.

Light bulbs out in room and shower water pressure was terrible. Also, shower wall had not been cleaned on a while and there was a thin line of mold on the wall features.

Clean, friendly staff and easy check in. Great location. Walking distance to restaurants/bars. Use the parking garage across the street from the Courtyard Marriott - it is directly across the street. FYI: Courtyard Marriott and Residence Inn are connected.

Staff was super friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The room had visible wear and tear but I wasn’t necessarily in need of something fancy for this trip and the condition was good enough for the rate I paid. The location alone was great, close to everything downtown.

Very nice hotel. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Will be even better post-Covid of course. Parking, other than valet, is not easy and valet is not cheap.

Nice hotel but be aware that Residence Inn allows pets in the rooms. Unfortunately our rooms were above and beside a room where someone left their dogs unattended. Their barking and howling kept us awake. The front desk was able to eventually reach their owners but we had a repeat incident first thing in the morning. When we checked out, the front desk apologized but couldn’t compensate us because we had booked and paid through a 3rd party.

Wonderful location, 5 minute walk from the Richmond Main Street Station, extremely friendly and accommodating staff, spacious and clean suite with a terrific kitchen, highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again during our next trip to Richmond

This hotel was amazing . Incredibly clean, well appointed, full kitchen! So much space! Good, COVID safe breakfasts to go.

Sadly however, the area it’s in , Shockoe Slip, which I thought would be bustling, was practically deserted.

From beginning to end the customer service, price, smile and attention to detail makes me want to go to Richmond even though I have not real reason to. I have travelled in chain hotel several times during COVID and by far this place nailed it. I stayed iin the Savannah Historic IHG the night before and it was dreadful. TYSM for the kindness and expression of true customer centered care.

Hotel was in a great location. Very good sized room and bathroom. Clean. Comfortable bed. Good water pressure in shower. Staff very helpful and friendly. Gym is kind of bare bones but decent. Hotel offering daily cleanings of the room (who would of thought that would be something you would have to comment on), Valet parking offered and very quick. Wi-fi is spotty. Only real drawback is COVID has the entrance of Residence Inn changed to Courtyard's entrance but GPS devices aren't updated so if you're driving for first time....you're going to be confused. All in all very satisfied and would stay again.

Hotel staff was superb from the moment we pulled to the valet parking until the time we left. Perfect location as we were there to watch a Nascar race at the track, located 7 1/2 miles from hotel. Easy access back on tobthe interstate. Will use this hotel again next year.

You advertise on your website that this is a pet-friendly hotel which how I searched it. However, Marriott charged a significant pet fee. If this is your idea of pet-friendly then you need to reevaluate your disclosures to the potential patrons. All else was fine but tainted by the checkin shock.

Enjoyed our stay. Was provided with everything we asked for in a timely manner. Good restaurants within walking distance. Needed to be near VCU Hospital for a family member’s surgery and recovery, which was within walking distance also. Kitchen was adequate for fixing meals so we did not have to eat out constantly. Would recommend to anyone.

We spent one night while traveling somewhere else. It was well located and clean. Friendly staff. Would definitely stay again

It was an overall good stay, we just needed it for the night for New Years, but we got complaints about being too loud, which was disappointing because it was a holiday!!! And there were other rooms that were louder with music and people going going in and out. Check-In was easy and a very nice welcome. Maybe we just had bad neighbors!
