I loved my stay here and I wish I had thought to stay here the previous night as well. It's right by the train station, so it's very convenient. The staff were incredibly kind and I really enjoyed my check in experience with them. The western-style rooms here look comfortable but a little outdated in decor. However, I booked a Japanese room and I was assigned the 和室B, which is the bigger of the two the hotel has available. It was absolutely gorgeous! Very spacious. Beautiful view. And very affordable. I'd definitely stay here again.

Booked because it offered Japanese rooms with futon for sleeping - nice change for a business hotel. Great location right by the train station. Accessible to transportation for major sightseeing in nearby towns like Hiraizumi.
The building is a bit older and there is some wear and tear on the rooms but everything was clean and neat. Breakfast buffett at attached restaurant was full of variety including Japanese and western style dishes.
