Stayed at this location for one night, having previously stayed at a My Place property in Michigan. Our usual stay in Grand Forks is the Staybridge, but with their room prices jacked to over $300 (possibly due to a concert) we selected the hotel (My Place) right next door which cost less than $200. We did not notice any smoking smells as other reviewers mentioned. In fact, the hotel smelled clean when we walked in as did our room. The employee checking us in was friendly and efficient. We were assigned room 107 which is right by the lobby and elevator. Yes, there was some noise throughout the early evening and morning aroubd 8 am, but the fan in the room helped to dampen the voices. Could have easily asked for a room re-assignment but we were not bothered. Bedroom and bathroom were clean, pillow and beds comfortable. If you typically stay at the Staybridge or tje Cmon Inn, this property is a good alternative at a decent peice. It is an older property and priced accordingly (IMO) so if you’re expecting room service, same day cleaning, or valet parking, go elsewhere. If needed to give one suggestion, I'd recommend management add outlets or charging stations suitable for USB cords to keep up with modern times. We'd stay here again without hesitation.

Overall the stay was fine. Room was clean, beds and pillows were comfortable. I would stay there again….however there was no fresh coffee our first morning there. There was lukewarm coffee left over from the night before….we checked an hour later and they was still no coffee. I told the guy behind the desk and he seemed less than pleased to deal with it…since it required him to stop watching the movie on his phone. The garbage can outside the front door was overflowing in the morning and still not emptied when we came back to the hotel later that evening. There is a kitchenette in the room, but no dishes or cookware…maybe you can get them from the front desk….but I didn’t see anything indicating that was an option…yet they gave us a washcloth and towel to wash dishes…but no dish soap. Again…the beds were comfortable and the room was clean….that is the most important thing.

The room wasnt bad. But the beds are not full queen size. Very small for 2 people.

Meant for extended stays…mini kitchen…fill size refrigerator, 2 burner cook top, microwave, sink. Bathroom cabinet storage. Modern and clean.

Very clean, efficient, utilitarian. Good location. Service was above average. Excellent lower budget hotel in GF. Room equipped with tiny kitchen is a plus.
