RVHotels Spa Vila de Caldes

I like the room that I was in, the view was amazing, the staff was great and helpful. The room does have stain, and some noticeable cracks. It not really sound proof because all you hear is muffled voices. The staff does clean the room daily. Outside the hotel there are restaurants, pharmacy, and mini-grocery stores you can go to. There is also a beautiful trail you can walk along. Overall it a 4.5/5 for me and the town has a rustic, home feeling to it.

Honestly was a perfect stay for what it was. It’s an older hotel but everything clean and the pool area was nice. For what it’s worth it was great, I’m a solo traveller and the room did what it needed to do. When I had any questions the staff was always friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for something close to Barcelona but without the crowds and price ;)

OK

The hotel is in a central location to the Main Street and surrounding restaurants as well as public transport access. Check was smooth and effortless. The hotel is dated, in need of refurbishment. The toilets leaked water constantly, the bath had a brown ring of rust it hard water. The water pressure was very low and the shower head small and oddly placed. The room was poorly lit, could do with more lights or brighter lights. Hotel arranged taxis were twice the price of uber. The spa does not look very clean and more expensive than the nicer hotel close by. The pool area is untidy, the chairs were dusty as if they hadn’t been cleaned in months.
