Beautiful, clean, large rooms. If you want an ocean view you’ll have to request it. The street-view rooms are noisy in the morning due to traffic.

I never give an excellent rating but Beyond Bliss is the exception! From check-in to check-out, we were pleased with the friendly staff, convenient location, spacious room, cleanliness, reasonable rate, and the lovely deck from which we could watch for whales and enjoy the sunset. There is also a spa next door!!

Great room with lovely bathroom and balcony. Clean, nice amenities, and very friendly reception staff. Foam mattress was a little hot and a/c unit was a little noisy, but overall a good place to stay right next to the ferry. Restaurant next door was outstanding!

Easy accessibility. Dining options nearby and an amazing view outside. Very comfortable place to sleep for the night and great cafes nearby for the morning.

Very convenient for the ferry. Very clean. But so disappointing that all cups were disposable and wrapped in plastic with plastic stirrers instead of a metal teaspoon.

We only stayed one night but wished we could have extended our stay to explore the town more. Our suite was lovely - very clean and tastefully furnished. Although we didn’t use it, the suite had a full kitchen which would have been amazing to take advantage of had we been able to stay longer. The one staff we interacted with at check in was friendly and helpful. When we’re back in Powell River we’ll definitely book here again.

The suite with the water view was very spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. My only comment really is that there is no elevator and walking up the three flights to room was a bit bothersome for my knee. I knew before booking there was no elevator AND I’d also still book there as it was that good. Minor but the jets in the tub went off in the night and it was not clear how to turn them off.

5 stars. The covered porch made the difference between this and other properties. If it wasn’t sold out in July when I return, I’d book again in a heartbeat. Deduct 1/2 star for no elevator though. 23 steps lugging 45lbs of luggage. I’m a professional traveler and travel lightly, but for a 2-week stint in Canada, one never knows what weather will be in store. If you’re a light traveler, feel free to add the 1/2 star back in. As it was, the weather was beautiful and the views from the porch are spectacular. Deduct another 1/2 because wireless while it worked in the room, it didn’t 20 feet away on the porch. If you’re from Canada with an unlimited data plan, that won’t be an issue so there’s another 1/2 star back.

The place was really clean and the beds were very comfortable...was a great suite to pick up groceries and prepare foods for yourself if you like, since they have a fridge, stove and frying pans,plates bowls etc..would highly recommend staying here

Clean property with great dining options within walking distance.
I loved my stay here except that the first night was very cold and the instructions for the heat regulations was very unclear.
The lady at the front desk figured it out for me by the second night though.
Also it will be nice to have a microwave in the rooms.
