Where do I begin, this hotel was less than stellar and would not reccomend to anyone in the future. Here for a business stay for a week, under the impression normal amenities and services would be available come to find out the hotel was under a huge renovation. I couldn’t wash clothes I had planned to wash, could not utilize a relaxing pool after a hard day of work, or couldn’t even get my day started with a workout as the gym was also closed for renovation. Had this information been provided Before booking I would have went elsewhere but it was advertised as a normal downtown hotel not under renovation. The hotel breakfast was very poor each day with sparse options annd the staff was rude and to top it off, I never once received a room cleaning even though I requested multiple times. The hotel staff was more interested in a leisure time than ensuring I was having a comfortable stay.

This property is under remodel but not a word was said during reservation process
The pool, laundry and gym were off limits. They say a complete kitchen..it is Not, dishwasher fell out of the wall when opened. The microwave would not allow you to set power levels no cooktop.

Rented room for New Year Eve's Celebration so no one would have to drive home after drinking. We ended up not spending the night as one in the party had not been drinking and drove everyone home. However, spent time in the room getting ready for the evening and returned a few times during the evening to utilized a nice bathroom versus a bar bathroom. Ragan, the young lady at the desk during check-in, was very polite and informative and made sure that we had everything we needed.

Multiple light bulbs out, wallpaper falling down, drywall watch not finished and none of the usb ports worked. Was very loud cause walls was thin. Positive was mattress comply and shower had great pressure.

Staff was very irrespecfull... and the room I reserved was not available gave me a different room with bugs in it!!!!

Shower had black mold/moldew, bathroom door does not shut completely for privacy. Staff was less than friendly. Breakfast was sparsely stocked and attendee was not friendly. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The room was clean, a warm feeling for being home. I love the kitchen area.

When we arrived we had to ask for lined for the fold out bed. We were told we couldn’t have another blanket since we already had one. When it came time to shower we discovered we had no body wash or shampoo. There were additional toiletries available. Most hotels have conditioner or body lotion. Not this one.

The rooms were good but breakfast was very poor. The tables were not cleaned, the food not restocked and the first morning they stopped serving 30 minutes early. Lesson learned, we were earlier the next morning. The definitely needed more help.

They put us in a room with the TV broken and they said they had ordered a new one but sorry it never came in. No TV on a sports trip? Are you kidding me? And they knew it was not working! Two towels the whole weekend and no sheets or blankets for sofa bed.

Our room was very loud from outside road noise. The tile floors were cracked, the bathroom “barn door” was extremely hard to move. Beds were made with no mattress pad, just a sheet on the mattress, the mattress pad was made as a blanket.

Staffs unwillingness to clean my room on a daily basis. Have to arrange to have your room cleaned on a daily basis and they still did not clean the room on two occasions. Staff acts aloof and does not care about your requests. Will not be returning as there are many other options.

Staff is amazing. Location is great. It’s well worn and in big need up freshening up but the staff and location make up for these shortcomings.

Check in was chaotic. Not enough toilet paper in the bathroom. Breakfast on Saturday morning was terrible. Little to no food available and the kitchen person was extremely rude! When asking the kitchen lady about food, she not nice and acted like putting any food out at all was a hassle. Ask the lady at the front desk about food, she said, “Sorry that ain’t my area.” I have never experienced such a bad experience at a Hilton.

Friends and I stayed overnight for a concert at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater. It was extremely easy to walk to the venue and parking options were great. We arrived a little early, but they were able to go ahead and get us checked in with no problems. Very quiet, comfortable and felt safe walking at night. Front desk staff was welcoming. Breakfast was really good and it was nice to receive complimentary bottles of water instead of charging.

The room was fine, but the bathroom was definitely aged. I had no hot water when I showered in the morning.

Went for Hank Williams Jr. concert and this was the absolute best place to stay. I would recommend staying here especially if you’re going to a concert at the amphitheater. The staff was wonderful.

We stay here during our visit to UA.
The location was very convenient. Close to restaurants and bars. Easy access to UA and other local attractions.
Room was clean, had a mini kitchen area with a large fridge, microwave, dishwasher, plates and silverware. Nice to have for a quick food warm up!
Bathroom was a bit dated and shower soap dispenser was not functioning but front desk attendant was ready with other toiletries options.
Overall a very good option for your stay!

I was pleased with the room .I love the fact that it has a kitchen with real dishes and a dishwasher.gave it a homey touch the pool was closed I was disappointed but I will consider staying there again

1st- A bag of trash sat outside the elevator for our floor for a day and a half.
2nd- Sadly the indoor pool was out of service, and that was the primary reason we chose this location. The Hilton location website nor Expedia made note of this during booking. One day was going to be devoted to lazing around the hotel and swimming. The Hilton refused to compensate us on our stay but Expedia made it right!
3rd- the staff was amazingly friendly. That alone made up for 1 and 2 to me with the Expedia comp.
4th- the room was not small child friendly. The bathroom was a sliding style door with no latch so my 2 year old kept wanting to know what was going on in there. Rooms are also not very sound dampening from hallway or each other.
5th- bed was EXTREMELY uncomfortable. Me and wife woke up every morning in pain.
Must emphasize that the staff was great but hands were tied from policy.

Stay only had one hiccup when another guest was given access to our room in error. We were not given any compensation for this error and had to ask for a new key to our room when our keys were no longer active and we were promised new keys. Poor communication among the staff. The hotel is decent, I just feel that a stranger given access to your room is a pretty big no-no.

Everything was great until the air went out in our room. We were gone to an event all day and we arrived at 11:30, it was burning up. No one came to the room to fix it or look at it, they just offered a different room. I wasn’t going to pack all my stuff up and my sleeping 10 month old at midnight. I thought I’d receive a discount too, but that wasn’t offered either.

We arrived and check in was slow due to online complications. Staff acknowledged our reservation and provided our room still. The room was very clean, and up to date … Great staff, I was totally impressed!!! Will return , thank you !!!

We were in town for a concert and had an incredible experience. The staff was welcoming and the rooms were clean. The beds were the best! I travel weekly and it was by far one of the best nights sleep I have had e traveling.

I had already bought insurance and I was made to pay $10 a person again at the service desk so that meant I had to pay there at the hotel and it was to be reimbursed and then I had to pay through Expedia this is unnecessary and it was not ( told) to me.
It had no restaurant or bar to just sit down and relax and have a little meal.
We had to be at the coliseum at 8:00 the lady was running late for the continental breakfast.
The soap in the bathroom had already been used it was open and kind of brownish look where someone had picked it up and used it in washing their hands that's uncleanliness that's called passing germs. Even though I had a couch in my room I never sat on it it appeared to be so dirty with all types of spots on it. Couch needs to be cleaned every now and then.
But from 1 to 5 to stay there or to recommend to another person I would give the (Hilton), that I expect way more from only a smile and a 3.

The property was decent. The breakfast was just OK but the amenities and the lounging areas were all nice. However, we stayed two nights and our credit card was charged over $1000 seriously?

Could have been cleaner and a little better upkeep would have improved our stay. Rug/carpet in our room felt dirty to walk on. I actually put my socks on. Breakfast needs improvement as well. Staff was nice and helpful.
