Staff and other guests were nice and the facilities were clean, the A/C wasn't working properly in our room.

Even though i had a booking, i was told it was only for international travelers so i was turned away. Hotels.com may be helpful to warn us about this fact. I wasn't aware.

Great location and staff was awesome

The property was good, I was able to drink some water and such. However, I didn’t like how the people underneath me were having sex 4:30AM, and I told the front agent and he didn’t really do anything. I didn’t have any sleep.

Very clean and safe place to stay in LA. If you come back at night theres always lots of people in the street and lots of people having fun. The hostel itself is very clean and offers a nice breakfast, and a great way to meet people. You keep your luggage in your room and there is a small locker to put some valuables in. You can purchase locks on site from the vending machine. Would stay again if I ever came back!

I could not believe it was Motel 6 it is one of the prettiest stylish design of 2023 love everything it is Absolutely Beautiful I will definely return.

Had a great stay. Hostel was only a 0.9 mi walk to Hollywood Bowl. Room was clean and cozy. Thought the entire building was well done. Only suggestion would be to make the quiet hours sign larger since some didn't quite abide by that, but regardless, we had a great stay. Thank you!

the picture to the left is the one I saw. It was of a bed, not a shared bunk, so the ad was misleading/deceptive. Hostels have private rooms and thats what I thought I was getting, so I was disappointed.

It was wonderful experience and the staffs are friendly and helpful. They even organise some activites on the day or night. It is also convenient because it is located just opposite of the metro and walk of fame.

I was told I couldn’t stay there cause I didn’t have ‘proof of travel’ which I can’t find anywhere before this placed was booked. I was told by the staff to not use my “Jewish Guilt” on him. Racist and unfriendly staff. Expedia did nothing to rectify the situation that evening. My phone died trying to resolve the problem and I had to sleep in my car. The hostel and Expedia never reached out to make sure this got resolved. After contacting Expedia again…they offered me a refund (for the place I was denied service to) and $25. What a joke of a place to stay and what a joke of the customer service interaction about this incident. Guess that’s where the country is at now. Just can call people Jews and deny service with the cloak of upholding some “policy” which isn’t posted on the Expedia listing. Fail.

Breakfast can be better by offering a few more items.

I liked the location and the staff, nice and friendly. Didn't love the bathroom arrangements.

A good budget friendly option if you want to be right on Hollywood Blvd. Private room was spacious and facilities were clean.

The staff were noisy all night on two of four nights, including socialising on the hallway in a miniparty tol 3am and playing music. There was a man the manager says 'just helps out' who cleans and plays music at night and sleeps on the common room by day and he called me a rude word after I complained about his late night music to reception. On the fourth night I was woken at 4am by him and the cleaner talking at a very loud volume outside my door. The receptionist shrugged and said quiet time was for guests not staff so I confronted them and asked them to be quiet so guests could sleep. They became aggressive especially the woman who immediately flew into a rage, ranted for about fifteen minutes including threatening me with violence and offering to fight me in the street when all I was doing was complaining without insults that guests should be allowed to sleep and staff should be respectful to customers. I threatened to call the police at which point the receptionist said "f*** you,man",then called the police and lied that it was I who had been aggressive and abusive to his staff. The cleaners disappeared and I went to bed. Two hours later he sent the police to wake me up. They did nothing except tell people to be calm and said they couldn't arrest the cleaner for her threats. The next morning, a man claiming to be the manager refunded me and said he would investigate although he told me he had been told a different version of events. Dangerous and zero respect for guests

Good plan sleep cheap

Does not say in the fine print about needing proof of onward travel. I had not yet decided when I was going home but i needed it because i am a California resident. All it says is that i cant live within 50 miles, which i don't. I bought a ticket so i could stay but they didnt seem to care that it wasnt in the fine print. Also a bathroom on a different floor was terrible. The place is nice and very clean.

It was my first hostel experience, and overall it felt very comfortable. I felt it could have been a bit quieter after 12am

Stayed here several times on my many trips out to Los Angeles. Never had an issue/problem! The staff is always friendly/helpful when needed!

Location was perfect. Close to everything, exactly at the walk of fame and subway was opposite to the hostel.
