Amazing stay

I thought there would be a hot tub. Breakfast was not great.

We stayed multiple nights, in both a room in the lodge and a cabin. Everything was clean and tidy. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

I’ve always enjoyed staying here. You’re near the town but remove enough for peace a quiet. The river running by, the dear roaming just make it special.

So nice of you to let us check in 2 hrs early 🤓much appreciated.

LOVELY HOTEL WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE OF TOWN!

There is no exaggeration on the name of this motel. It has a lovely lawn and an excellent view of the Methow River and the nearby narrow bridge into Winthrop. The location is walkable to town, and yet maintains a country feel. The rooms are comfortable and have all that you need. I liked that our king size room had a couch for sitting and a table. The balcony seats three. Would recommend for those who want a good value.

Great location, quick walk to town and close to main road. Nice rustic cabin feel with very comfortable bed.

The only certain thing I could complain about is one bug, and one spider that had gotten into my room. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and has features I appreciate: complimentary WiFi and breakfast, bathroom ceiling fan, extra T.P. and coffee available even when the office is closed. The property has little outdoor lighting, and the unmonitored parking lot is very dark at night. The only issue with this is finding your way around; safety does not appear to be an issue in this small town. Back entrance privacy near the public lawn and river may be an issue, as anyone out there can see into a downstairs room if the curtains are not drawn. I did not sleep particularly well for two of my three night stay; I do not know why, as the beds are comfortable and there was little ambient light. I have an idea for a return that involves how much outdoor space there is, and how dark it is at night. I want to return on one or more clear nights in a non-winter season, and bring my large telescope. This would be a great vacation in addition to the recreation provided by the town of Winthrop, and the proximity of this property to the river.

Nice location

The cabins were the perfect getaway and so clean and quiet with river right out the back door. It They were equipped with anything you would need.

Exceeded expectations! Clean and new feeling. Room upstairs for three teenagers and downstairs for adults. Walking distance to food and shopping. Pizza place was perfect!

Our room was Great! We were able to walk into town and we had a beautiful view of the river. There grills to use, own patio, and small complementary breakfast in the am.

We enjoyed the easy walk to town. The river is an awesome asset too.

We enjoyed being on the riverfront and having access right outside our door. The grassy area between our room and the river made it feel like our own backyard. The staff was very friendly and the room very clean, comfortable and spacious with very comfortable pillows.

Beautiful location along a river. The motel is rustic, but our room was large, modern and comfortable.

Beautiful area right by the Methow River. Easy access. Lots of parking. Walking path and bridge to the downtown shopping area. The only negative was the coffee was horrible. With so many awesome coffee roasters in the area, they could definitely do better.

Nice place

Loved the spacious clean room. Loved that deck (with chairs and table) look out over river. There is traffic noise though from main road and bridge in to town. It was a lovely stay.

I was not able to reach the hotel because highway 20 was closed due to a forest fire! I called the hotel and they said my payment was non-refundable. They suggested an alternative route, but after 5 hours of riding I gave up and booked another place top stay. This, to me, is an unacceptable response. The hotel knew the highway was closed but did not inform me ahead of time.

Great spot, close to the old western part of methow. Clean, staff were friendly and check in was a breeze

As advertised- roomy, good temp control (if you have been to eastern washington you know why this is important), good location, easy stroll into town, and super clean. Will stay there again. Only downside was the wild animals in the breakfast room- wild guests rabidly loading up plates and making a mess with cereal, waffles, bagels and yogurts only to throw 1/2 of it in the trash.

The property was very clean and just a short walk into town. The staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was very light.

Very nice property. Had a few issues, hot tub and ice machine out of service.

It was perfect. Close to everything. Had coffee with the deer and turkeys walking by.

Host provides check-in information before arrival with room number and door code with you arrive after check-in hours. Room is close to river with table and two chairs outside room and picknick tables.
