Gorgeous hostel and location, with lovely staff and hostelers. Some of the best walks in the Lakes from right outside the door. And a lovely arboretum (High Close) right there. Looking forward to staying again!
Note: lanes are very narrow, as is entrance to parking, so beware if you are driving anything other than a small car.
Minor improvements would help:
1. Squeaky / banging doors can disturb at night
2. I couldn't get hot water in shower -- which led to wasted water as I waited and waited.

I really enjoy the place . If you planning to stay here I recommend this. But there is no near by shop if you came to enjoy the weather you will like it.
