The hotel room was like having an apartment 2 bedrooms BUT one thing we didn’t like was one of the workers or has a big dog that likes to bark at 7:45 AM he Woke us up almost every morning Morning when your on vacation we wanted sleep

The whole staff is super friendly and very accommodating. Our family loved the pool, kitty cats, parrots, rabbits and turtles. Breakfast was awesome. We heard the restaurant was great but unfortunately was being renovated during our stay. Thank you so much West Bay Lodge

The PERFECT getaway! Location was perfect, a 3 minute walk to the beach. The location itself is safe, quiet, and charming. The pool is perfect and the room is spacious with all the amenities to stay comfortable. A unique getaway with an INCREDIBLE staff working there, super helpful and friendly. I can't recommend this place enough and will definitely go back!

Very quiet and laid back property. Staff were all excellent and always willing to help. The cabana was functional with cold a/c fridge with freezer, coffee pot, microwave, and cable tv. The property is very tropical with a nice pool to relax in after a day at the beach. Shout out to Melony and Lorilie for their great customer service! We will be back,

It is a great location, beach is near. There is the placita where you can go and eat. The breakfast was delicious. My family and i have a very good time. We stay in the luxury condo.

My wife and I stayed at West Bay Lodge in Roatan, Honduras from July 8-15, 2022. We were really happy with this resort. We had a wonderful bungalow with all the amenities and the grounds of the property were lush and beautiful. It was literally a 2-minute walk to one of the most spectacular beaches I’ve ever seen so the location is fantastic! The staff were friendly, efficient and very helpful. The food at the restaurant was excellent as well. Melony, the manager, was amazing and she ensured we had everything we needed including airport transfers both ways, beach towels, snorkeling gear (for a nominal cost) and just all the little things that make a vacation go from good to great!
Roatan is a paradise and we were so happy we stayed at West Bay Lodge. We would recommend it to anyone!

Good service! If you are looking to get a massage this is the place to go. Pool needs to be service better. Staff are nice and friendly.

Well... if you're looking for beachfront this isn't for you but I'm sure you got 2 legs so you'll be ok. The walk to the beachfront is only 2 minutes away and you're away from the insanity which is pretty nice. The staff here are fantastic and helpful! Rooms are nice and for once, free conditioner....what a concept

We stayed 7 nights in the 2 bedroom/2 bath condo and had a lovely time. The building is just across the street from the hotel property with a shopping mall on the main floor. The included breakfast was wonderful, featuring two hot cooked options daily as well as fresh baked goods. Airport pickup and drop off were also included, a welcome surprise! Another unexpected pleasure was a small rooftop pool, just one floor above us which seemed like ours alone since no one else every used it. A very personal touch throughout, highly recommended!

West Bay Lodge is an amazing place to stay and the customer service by Melony and Celeste was amazing!! Communication prior to the trip was fantastic, and they easily rescheduled the shuttle for our delayed flight. Easily arranged a same day request for a rental car for us. Great customer service, amazing location, and fantastic room!

Celeste and her staff and wonderful. Very attentive and friendly. The chef does a great job in the kitchen and Winston the waiter was very friendly and helpful.
The bungalows are just the right size and have a few items in the kitchen to prep small meals if you wish.
The rooms were clean with a nice layout. We even had an issue with our booking (no fault of theirs) but they helped us out and set it straight without any issues. The parrots and the cats on the property are a nice touch that my kids spent hours petting and playing with. The pool is small but it was big enough for my kids to swim in and cool down. The beach is a short 5 min walk down the road across from the lodge. Its nice that the lodge isn't on the beach as the beach can be very packed and noisy.
Overall this is a great place to stay. Celeste does work with the community and helps stray animals which is one of the things that drew us to her place. We would stay here again without a doubt.

The property is beautiful with a tropical garden surrounding each cabin. We were happy to have a fridge and coffee maker. There was a burner and cookware too but we loved the restaurant at the hotel and others surrounding it too. It is far enough off the main beach to be peaceful but close enough that going back and forth to the beach isn't a burden. Beach towels are available too. Very friendly personalized attention from staff. I could tell it was place where regulars come back year after year.

Would never give a bad review because owner didn’t want to talk, or front desk “didn’t smile” at me or say “good morning”. 1st cabin on day 1, had sewer gas leak from 1st couple hours and put up with it till morning. Informed morning worker of it and 1/2 of unit breaker tripped-no power. 5 hours later no action. Extremely small toilet was not set and leaking gas. Told 2nd shift and had to wait 1.2 hours till new unit got cleaned and moved. Owner was in and out, could care less of occupants but local help was helpful.

It was incredibly clean, walking distance to the west bay mall, restaurants and the beach.

Was an overall pleasant stay. No wifi from the condo areas across the street from the office, not even a signal. The water was off the day of checkout. No changing of towels or any cleaning during stay and with the humidity everything gets mildew stink very quickly. The staff was very pleasant, but the office was usually closed with nobody around and the tour they were supposed to check on didn't happen. The service throughout Honduras is very, very poor compared to most other places you may vacation, so considering that, it wasn't bad, just ok.

Celeste runs a great resort- the manager Melody picked us up at RTB and delivered us promptly to the resort, giving us personal stories and suggestions on what to do/see/where to eat. The property is beautiful and right across the street from public beach access. The two parrots, Malibu and Batman, were a hit w our boys. Breakfast was fabulous- coffee and juice were great!

The location makes it perfect to head to the beach easily but also be away from the noise of the bars and restaurants. The place is surrounded by trees and plants and feels very serene. The staff was incredibly nice and went out of the way to help with any request.
Snorkeling with the guide they recommended (Edin) exceeded expectations. I would definitely return here if I am able to get back to Roatan.

Such a cozy, cabin-like feel with great attention to detail and guest service. Pleasant pool with a choice of sun and shade.
Beach umbrellas provided for the days on a shadeless beach, and endless drinking water.
Parking was possible, staff friendly, a walk to the beach easy.
If I come back to Roatan, I’ll be staying here.

West Bay Lodge is situated 3 minutes off of West Bay Beach. Wonderful beach, with great snorkeling, magnificient food choices and varied water activities. Beach is safe and secure and an easy walk along the beach. We stayed in the condos across from the main West Bay Lodge property. Trip included transfers to and from the airport, welcome cocktail and daily breakfast that varied each day based upon island cuisine. This was our 4th time staying at West Bay and we have never had a bad experience.

What I liked was the friendly vibe once you arrive. The owner & workers at the lodge are friendly & helpful. What i did not like was the heavy presence of ants in my room. Ants are attracted to sweets as well as wooden furniture which makes up majority of the resort.

We’re a family of four and we stayed at West Bay Lodge for a weekend getaway. It is more of a compound with little tropical bungalows. However, our unit was on a condo across the street. It was fabulous! I didn’t notice any elevators so we took the stairs to the 3rd level. Our condo unit was complete with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Full kitchen, living and dining area, laundry nook with washer and dryer, an outdoor balcony was also nice. We just walk across the street to eat breakfast at Celeste’s restaurant and it was amazing tropical fare. There’s a small pool on the compound and a smaller pool on the condo rooftop with a view of the ocean. Beach was just a couple minutes walk. They have umbrellas and towels to provide. However, the condo dining area needs better lighting and utility wall hooks will be needed to hang towels, robes, etc. Thank you Lorelie and Melony and the rest of the staff. Rum punch was great! We will come back!

The owner and Melanie did a great job finding me a ferry back to la ceiba. The hotel was clean and beautiful. The food and drinks was excellent. This is across the street from the beach. I would recommend to stay.

The best part is they are NOT right on the beach (only a 3 min walk). The beach there is gorgeous, but busy. It's nice to be able to retreat to west bay lodge for some piece and quiet and get away from the crowds (especially on cruise ship days)
If you like parrots, you will get to know them quite well. Watch your toast at breakfast time ;^P
Celeste and Milos (and their whole staff) are excellent hosts and so friendly... Who else would give you a ride to the airport and give you a hug goodbye?? You won't get that at a big resort.
We will be back!!
