Boulder Mountain Guest Ranch

The Bolder Mountain Guest Ranch is a very nice unique rustic lodge. Situated in a beautiful pion pine forest. Jared was a special manager who went out of his way to make you feel comfortable and at home. His extensive knowledge of the local area was a great addition to our stay. I will definitely be back. Stayed here one night. Jared was very welcoming. The property is off the beaten path, which was just what we needed at this stage of our trip. It is rustic but modern. There’s a restaurant (Sweetwater Kitchen) serving dinner right on the property which gets great reviews, but we had already eaten when we got there so didn’t get a chance to try it. It smelled wonderful, though. The room was small but comfortable with good quality linens and towels. It did not have an en suite bathroom, though it was just outside our door. In fact, we stayed in a fairly private area of the lodge that has three rooms and two bathrooms which would be perfect for a family or three couples traveling together. Everything was clean and Jared provided coffee and breakfast snacks which we were able to grab on our way out in the morning. But be warned that the last 1/4 of a mile to the lodge is unpaved, so wouldn’t recommend showing up in a low slung sports car. All other cars should have no problem at all. Would definitely consider staying here again!

We enjoyed our stay! Our yurt was lovely, the bathroom was nice, the snacks provided in the Great Room were just right…the only improvement would be some property trail marker maintenance. We explored a little bit & many of the signs had fallen or were twisted.

It’s a well run Guest house… neat place…. Only problem was that the wifi didn’t work in room 7
