Amazing location, solid breakfast, great staff

Lovely overnight stay. The receptionists were very welcoming and polite. One went out of her way to give us breakfast even though the time had passed. Rooms were clean. One block from the beach. Walkable to shops.

This Inn was great in every aspect. Staff was really nice and helpful. Complimentary breakfast was one of the better ones I've had. They have thought of every little thing related to amenities. Clean and comfy, Highly recommend it to anyone going to Jersey Shore

Location was wonderful. Ocean Grove is like stepping back in time.Everything there is pristine and well cared for. Rooms at the Inn were clean and well stocked. They were however small. Hallways and staircases were narrow. Because of the age of the building cooling was done by window air conditioners. The unit was louder than I would have liked. A power bar for charging cell phones, etc would have been nice.A breakfast was served in the inn next door. It was enjoyable as an overnight stay, but I would find a longer stay there to be challenging.

Very nice property. Staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. Excellent breakfast and nice central location. There's not much to do in the immediate area. That makes it very peaceful, but it also meant that I ended up walking to Asbury Park most evenings.

Lovely room, very clean and quiet. Beach towels offered and able to buy discounted beach passes at reception. Easy access to Ocean Grove beach and quick walk along the boardwalk to Asbury park. Great breakfast offered in the morning. Looking forward to visiting again!

The staff was vert friendly. My boyfriend and I stayed for one night and the room was perfect size and very clean. We stayed in room 302 it has its own bathroom. It was very convenient right by the boardwalk.

Beautiful location, very helpful staff accommodated my request of early check in and let me store my bags while sightseeing the next day, outstanding breakfast included!

Love this property and the location. The room we had this time was a bit small, and unfortunately there was some sort of road work going on right outside our window until after 11 pm (not the hotel's fault of course). Breakfast was lovely and plentiful, but the people serving it were weird and not especially friendly.

Charming old-fashioned hotel in a beautiful enclave of older houses. It overlooks a quiet green very near the beach with a short walk to restaurants and amenities in nearby Asbury Park. My room was clean and well-equipped with a comfortable bed, fine for one person but perhaps a little small for two.

Proximity to the beach and the ocean. Great, uncrowded and very clean beach. Very nice breakfast as well. All round pleasant experience. Easy check-in and check-out.

Nice place

A beautiful, elegant place, the staff was friendly and helpful, we were within 10 minutes walking distance to our event. And half a block to the beach. A thoroughly relaxing stay!

The only thing that I can say needs improvement is the temperature of the rooms was very chilly. The bed covers were very thin and there were no other blankets in the room. A warmer blanket and comforter would be great. This was voiced by multiple people at breakfast.

Lovely stay in Ocean Grove. The ocean view from the room was overstated but the hotel is a block from the beach so still lovely. Excellent breakfast. Water in the room. Room is small but quaint, in keeping with an old hotel. Staff were kind and helpful. They supplied beach towels! A definitive plus.

My daughter and I stayed here for one night. The room was clean and comfortable. Check in process was easy and the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. My daughter loved the complementary chips and the the bowls of chocolate that were magically refilled during the day. The included breakfast exceeded all expectations. The serving staff were lovely and kind, and the food was delicious. We enjoyed the egg bake and the french toast bake, as well as the fresh fruit and pastry selection. Coffee was excellent. The location is convenient to the beach- just a block away, and a short walk down the boardwalk to Asbury Park. We had a wonderful time, and we are planning to make this an annual trip. Thank you so much!

Quaint...excellent location, staff wonderful Some rooms a bit small, so just ask for King sized room if you want more space

Only little issue, the shower head kept dripping, but the nice manager there came to check even late at night. The small details, like the little chocolates, and ample breakfast were a nice touch, I loved being there even one night, I shall return.

Loved my recent stay at the Ocean View Inn. I've stayed here several times in the past and always a delight. The location is right near the beach and minutes to the beach, food, asbury boardwalk, the auditorium. Room was comfy , clean, and good sized. Staff always pleasant, helpful, and accommodating. The breakfast is tasty and lovely to sit on the deck watching the morning start with very good coffee. Ocean grove is a lovely location, quiet, and folks are friendly. Look forward to a future stay. Thank you!

Great location. Convenient walk to beach and artsy Asbury park boardwalk and restaurants. Friendly staff. The bathrooms are relatively bigger. Watch out for the tub as it can be slippery. Breakfast has adequate choices. The housekeeping staff forgot to replenish coffee supplies.

Everything was great and had a terrific breakfast
