I was unable to stay, because when I checked in I was informed that there was an issue with my room and i was now registered at a different Mariott property. Although the "new" hotel was a step up from the Fairfield, it was inconvenient to my event and required quite a bit of additional travel time.
Also, my new room had no hot water the morning I was leaving - was not able to take a shower. Overall a terrible experience.

The one bedroom suite did not have a door so it was not really a separate bedroom. We found this lack of privacy unusual as we always get these types of suites at other chains and our boys have the living room to themselves. Otherwise, the hotel was clean, the service was good and the free parking and breakfast were a definite plus

News were hard and pillows flat, but hotel was nice, clean, friendly staff, and had free parking in a well lit lot. Right outside of DC. Great area.

The check-in and check-out processes were so quick and smooth. I was very impressed and grateful. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool and jacuzzi were clean and the source of a lot of fun with the kids. While the hotel was not the focus of our trip, I was very happy with it, in all facets.

Hair dryer was broken and try to ask for a replacement. Service desk reply was mo one is available, needs to check back tomorrow. Check in staff was not polite at all.

honestly this hotel was amazing for the price. the room was CLEAN, and that’s saying something because my standards are high! the beds were comfy enough, and the front desk was kind and helpful. There was some weird markings on my bedside table, but I didn’t mind too much because the room was overall very clean and well kept. I informed the front desk about the markings (mostly so I wouldn’t be blamed for them) and they were apologetic. The area is also very nice and seemed very safe. I stayed here during a very busy convention and the hotel was a nice, safe, comfortable place to get rest.

The staff were very nice. Had a hard time finding hotel at first- didn’t realize there were 2 of these in Alexandria. The breakfast was fantastic, beds good and the pool was great too.

Booked this instead of another due to it having an indoor pool. Upon arrival pool closed. Never opened in the 4 days I was there. Left room around noon on 2nd day and requested my sheets changed. Returned back at end of the day and no housekeeping had been in room even after requesting from front desk. If you didn’t ask you didn’t get even if you asked. Reply from general manager from hotel survey just blamed the pool on the county and never assumed responsibility. County doesn’t close pool unless it is a maintenance issue. It made matters worse to have shifted the blame by management. Will not return to this hotel location or family of hotels.

The room was quiet and clean. It was strange being on the first floor because the window looked to a brick wall below ground. It was fine though. The only problems were the bathroom fan didn't work, the hot tub was out of order and someone was smoking weed in the vicinity of our room. The pool was nice, very chlorinated but still nice to swim in the winter. The towels were tiny, more like tea towels. The breakfast was nice, lots of options. We did take the oatmeal back to microwave.

I am so glad that i made this reservation. The facility is perfect. The room was large and clean. It got all amenities I expected. It has a convinent location for grocery shopping and restaurant too.

Hotel was clean, desk staff were friendly and helpful. I had called before we arrived to make sure the hot tub worked and was told it was. When we arrived the hot tub didn’t even have water in it. The whole reason I booked here was the hot tub. The breakfast was not great.

I chose this hotel because our family had a pleasant stay in 2022. This visit was opposite. During check-in, the staff member on duty was unfriendly and paid more attention to her phone, giggling at whatever was on there. Next, our actual room had an unpleasant smell (cleaning supplies + cigarette smoke smell). Breakfast was decent and the staff member on duty during checkout was pleasant. We will not book this hotel again when returning to the area.

The room was comfortable and check in was very good our only complaints for is that the hair dryer didn't work in the shampoo dispenser was out of shampoo. We did appreciate that there was Max on the TV to watch movies. So all in all a very good place to stay

I will not stay in this hotel again. I’ve had such a hard time getting my money back and no one calls you back. As many hotels that I have stayed in I have never dealt with an issue with a hold being held on my account for 11 days after the hotel property had been paid
