The windows didn’t have very good blinds. From outside you could see in at night with the lights on. We had to change clothes in the dark. The trash under our bathroom sink was full and overflowing. The screen door screen was falling out. Otherwise it was clean, updated and cozy.

A couple of things so it the self check in. They should let guest know the wifi password. Either in the self checkin email or a sign in the room. Also, it would be a good idea to tell people how to lock their room from the outside. So if they want to leave their room they understand how to work the key pad so it locks.

The location was excellent for us, and there is space to walk your dog! The cabins are older, but spacious. The only real downside was the coffee in the room is terrible.

The guest check was beyond miserable, it took multiple phone calls through different "service providers" and enormous time wasted. I was to call and check in, but it was an ordeal to get a number, then, becasue I was on the road, I was unable to have wifi and get the information.
and =, Oh, someone will call you back in the next business day.....AFTER the night I needed to stay.
Go figure. I won't use this place again and would highly recommend against it.

Place was nice, we made it in quite late and the reception office closes at 9pm (at least when we stopped through) So we had about 10 mins to spare. Super friendly and nice place. Beds were super soft! Would stop through again!

You can see they are working on improvements. The staff is very friendly. They offer free treats and beverages to customers. Our room door had a great gap in the bottom and there was a very cold draft across the floor. Didn’t have air conditioner that we could see but we didn’t need it it was late September. The picture featuring the property was not a cottage but a strip motel. It was ok everything was pleasant for the night.

The River front on the property is an absolutely wonderful place to sit and relax and have a beverage . Very clean, you can just tell they are really working had to make the place and your stay great.

Adequate facilities. Upgraded as much as practical. Adjacent to Wind River with bank side chairs.
Somewhat cramped. Good coffee maker and coffee. Would like to have a second trash can under the microwave.
WiFi was spotty--strong then weak but worked overall in an area with poor cellular reception. Did not care for the ROKU TV provider. Even though I have subscriptions to some channels, the service would not let me log in. Prefer Dish or Direct TV.
Overall, adequate lodgings for the price and location.

Didn't realize I was supposed to call a corporate number to get a code for the door. Luckily a manager was around and checked me in no problem. Place could use a little TLC but was very nice.

For a one night stay, the motel was adequate. Clean and comfortable. Rooms are very compact. Typical style motel for thr area.

My husband and I and our 2 Siberian huskies loved our time at Chinook Winds Inn. Vicky was very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. We were so grateful to her for checking on us and handling all our needs. Also thank you to Joseph who was very helpful as well. We hope to be able to visit again. Alex wasn’t there during our stay but was very helpful by phone when we were booking our stay. Thank you all!

Received a text with room info and key code making it super easy when we got there. We arrived after it was dark and the sign is not lit making it very hard to find (no cell service-no gps).

Was told check in was 4 but the room info binder says 3. No laundry. Need to change that there’s a pool - it’s just a swimming hole in a river.

Great little spot near the local creek. Comfortable little spaces to relax all around the property. The room itself was fine for space, though the shower was almost too tiny to use.
Sounds from neighbors or outside are not muffled by anything, passing through walls and windows easily. There was a fan in the room to help provide some ambient noise that helped at night, though it didn't seem to move air well enough to help with the heat.
Wi-fi is great during daytime hours when everyone is mostly gone, but quickly goes to completely unusable in the evenings when every room is streaming content to their TVs.

My only concern is that there was hardly anyone ever in the office.

Stayed here on the way to Yellowstone. Arrived after check in time but called on our way to tell them. They were awesome in telling us how to get in the room. Room was super cute, rustic looking., beds were comfy and plenty of hot water. Woke up in the morning to chickens walking around the parking lot. River behind the property is beautiful and the town of Dubois wasn’t crowded and had several things to see before heading to Yellowstone. Would definitely stay here again.

I feel very happy and comfortable during my stay in Chinook. The staffs here are very friendly and the rooms are tidy and clean. Special thanks to Alex, who showed us the amazing waterfall in Dubios and gave us timely help.

bathroom was way too small. no place to even place a towel. toilet area was only about 20" wide. good thing i'm not a big person!!

I was quite disappointed with our stay at this hotel. The economy rooms which we booked were completely separate from main hotel. I had to go back into the listing to find the pictures of the economy rooms. They were 30-40 pictures in to find them.
The unit had two rooms and one very noisy air conditioner. In order to have one room comfortable the other had to be ice cold and extremely noisy.
I could not recommend the economy rooms to anyone. I would not have stayed the second night if I had not paid for it at check in.
I don’t know how the rest of the property was because that was across the parking lot from me.
