Check-in was fine (pictures would've been nice), but the amenities listed on Hotels.com were misleading—there was no balcony at all, and no shampoo or body wash provided. Ironically, the only thing with flawless, highly detailed instructions was how guests should handle and dump the garbage.

The area is good. Shops nearby. Central location. The description how to get to the apartment is confusing. We had to enter one house, take an elevator to the third floor, leave the house, cross a patio (did not say which direction as there several houses next to the one we had just come out of), then enter another house, go to the sixth floor, and then find an apartment that started with EA on a floor in which all apartments start with F. The photos don’t show the apartment you actually rent. The place was okay. It says parking is available. It turns out you have to reserve and there is not much parking and it costs over 30 $ per night.

The apartment itself is big and OK. We arrived Saturday evening and we had to retrieve the keys at some box system. Then we got to the address and could not get into the building as at the entrance there is a confusing array of electrtonics and we had lots of keys and tokens . Fortunately after an hour arrived another guest who had the same issues the previous day and helped us. They don't answer the phone so you have to arrive on weekdays in office hours. Service is inexistent.

The property was slightly misrepresented. The picture showed the waterfront in the background but you could not see the water from the apartment. The water was very close by and it was beautiful to walk on the waterfront. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, utensils and toaster. The check in was strangely arranged. The keys were in a lockbox on the side of a building down the street from the apartment. Once we got the keys it was a short walk to the apartment building. The apartment was basically in a maze and you had to go upstairs in one building and then go to another building and we couldn’t find it. Luckily the customer support people were great and they guided us to the apartment at 11 pm. It was a 30 minute walk to the city center and fish market . There was 2 small grocery stores just down the street and some good restaurants and a bakery a few minutes walk.
