Easy to find, excellent situation for us as we wanted to go to Beamish. Property very clean and had all the amenities we required.
Very thoughtful provided us with coffee tea milk bread biscuits etc.
Could not fault it.

Really lovely cottage, tastefully decorated with everything you need for a great stay and Clare is a superb host. The rooms are all good sizes so if the weather was poor it would still be a nice break.
There's a lovely walk from the door and a bus stop with several daily services to Durham so it's even possible to visit without a car.
The only thing I'd add is to drive down the main road a little further than Google Maps suggests & you'll see the off road parking & sign for the cottage.
