The location of Asia Inn is ideal for those in Kong Kong on holiday: close to tourist attractions, restaurants/fast food outlets, the railway and bus networks, Kowloon Park, Star Ferries and the fast ferries to Macau.
George and the Asia Inn staff spoke excellent English and were always helpful.
The lift was larger than we expected from previous reviews of the hotel, and access was no problem once we discovered that we could use the B or C lifts and that the hotel was on the 16th floor of the interconnected buildings.
For those of us who have stayed in budget hotels in London, Paris and Tokyo, the size of the Asia Inn room (we had a 'large' family room for 3 adults) was no surprise, but it might be a shock for others! But as a place to sleep it was cozy enough: excellent mattresses, comfortable pillows, and there was a fan and an air conditioner for perfect temperature control. There was also a TV, with local and English-language programs.
So would we recommend the Asia Inn to others going to Hong Kong for a holiday? DEFINITELY. It is excellent value for money.
