Great location, walking distance to both bay and beach. Nice area to talk a walk. It as 2 bath in one unit, very clean.

I have stayed here for years, since I was a child. I'm 51 now. I have always loved staying here with my family & this time it was a little different. Even though we were The biggest thing was that we has 3 adults staying in the room & it has 2 queen beds & a pull out bed. The problem was. It was myself & my husband & My mother staying. She is 79 years old & like I normally do I slept with my husband, but could not get out of the bed, because the 2 queen beds are pushed up against the wall. WHY?? Everything else was nice, but if you can't get out of the bed, then is it really worth it. I ended up sleeping on the couch & not with my husband for our 1st vacation away in 4 years. Disappointed is a understatement. Feel like I should get some of my money back . :(

Honestly its a great deal for the area. Right by the beach. Within driving distance of all major areas on the coast. Clean rooms. Only issue we had was the outlets weren't working and the shower took forever to warm up. But I imagine the room hasn't been used for a bit so it took a bit of time for it to get back to action. Would stay again based on price point and location.

Spent many vacations at Desert Sands, all positively memorable! Staff is always cordial. Location is perfect, close to beach, restaurants, playgrounds. Plan to return there in the future.

The beds were wonderfully comfortable, truly, with what seemed to be a brand new mattress. Their pool and patio area were clean and well organized. We felt as welcome and as comfortable as any place we have ever stayed. Keep up the exemplary work! Hope to be back again soon!

The beds were wonderfully comfortable, truly, with what seemed to be a brand new mattress. Their pool and patio area were clean and well organized. Close to the beach. Quiet area. Clean. Friendly staff. We found the beds to be mildly uncomfortable (it’s hard to find beds that are better than your own anyway) but overall it’s a small price to pay for everything else. Would stay again for sure.

Stayed at Desert Sands with my teenage/young adult daughters. The room was very clean and tidy. Large fridge, dishes, cups, all the things to make us comfortable. The sleeper couch is the only place to sit other than the kitchen chairs, and it was small. I would recommend bringing in one or two folding camp/sporting chairs so everyone has a comfortable chair to sit in while eating and watching tv.

Room was clean and spacious. I was not expecting 1.5 bath. Staff was probably the friendliest I have encountered at the shore. Hotel amenities were nice. Even after checkout we were permitted to use the beach passes until 3 and allowed to shower in the locker near the indoor pool after a couple hrs on the beach. This was great because we had to small kids who love the sand.

Great last-minute stay. Staff was easy to work with and the room was very clean. A couple of minor things were missing in the kitchen, but quickly rectified. Oliver would recommend.

Room was clean, and it had a good assortment of different pillows to choose from. The only part I didn't like is that it had a little musty odor, but after opening all windows, we all had a good night.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. The room had obviously been recently renovated. The room was very clear and the bed was extremely comfortable. We were surprised that the room included beach tags which was a great bonus. The only downside was that there was no morning coffee nearby. We will stay again!
