Very clean rooms and comfortable bed. Check in was super easy. There is currently a lot of construction in the area. I stayed on a Sunday but I imagine it might be pretty noisy on weekdays.

We didn’t like the automatic lights coming on. Too bright and too sensitive. Otherwise great!

Overall I was plenty happy with the room/stay. The view from the rooftop patio is excellent. It was also very central to town, so it was easy to walk to many places (albeit a bit hilly). A few minor complaints:
1) The nearby construction made it a bit tricky to get to the parking lot
2) The lighting in the room was tied to motion sensors. This was good in some ways (dim lights would light up the floor under the bed, which helped navigate the room at night), not so good in others (lights could turn off while sitting on the toilet). Its possible to force them to stay on, but not very easily.
3) It was slightly cramped.

Very nice staff. Great location. Nice roof top sitting area. Unfortunately the coffee machines didn’t work either morning we were there. Light sensors kept going off in the middle of the night. Room is very small for two adults and luggage.

This place was right at the top of the hill near Queenstown, making it easy to be in the heart of things. Location was great, the room was great. Parking was a little tough but it wasn’t a big deal.

Loved the location but we’re dismayed by the bathrooms. Bathroom lights come on full blast when you open the glass door waking your partner in the middle of the night. Under bed lights come on when you step out of bed. Nice for safety but not conducive to quality sleep.

Quaint boutique hotel with a fabulous view of the lake and City Centre. We were warmly greeted at the front desk, issued keys and recommended some of the best eats in town.
The room’s footprint is compact, but very smart. Love the under bed motion lights, made it easy to navigate the dark room without waking others. Also appreciate the eco measures taken.
Once you explore the town, plan on letting time pass you by as you enjoy the overlook deck. If it’s a chilly night, help yourself to complimentary hot cocoa and snuggle by the fireplace. Mi-pad is definitely a gem!!! Too bad we couldn’t stay long.

A great spot being just out of town, but an easy walk to everything. The view from the terrace overlooking the town is fantastic.

Excellent budget option. Super comfortable and nicely finished. Fantastic showers and great location. Would definitely stay again. Good to note- Wifi is as very patchy and the free coffee machines are a great idea but were largely empty apart from a super weak filter coffee with no milk or sugar so best avoid.

We loved absolutely everything about it. Loved the complimentary coffee, the set up of the room and the cool little things like the heated towel rack

Should have been told beforehand that the street in the front of the building was completely under construction. Should have been told that our balcony faced the construction which caused us to not use it as it was noisy and dusty. The heated towel feature did not work

Great location. Walk to town. Great rooftop terrace. Room lighting was a fiddle, but a minor detail.

Lovely hotel, close to shops, restaurants, etc. free tea and coffee 24x7. Lovely view from the terrace. Would stay here again. The only downside was parking, lots of roadworks when we stayed so did about 20 loops of the town before we found somewhere

Generally I loved this hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel and rooms were clean and neat. The view was great. Very energy efficient with the lighting controls and motion sensors. But the bathrooms were very poor design. They were not very functionally designed with how the shower and door placement were positioned. It was hard to get in/out and not get everything all wet during or after the shower.

The hotel was nice for a short stay. There was a lot of construction around the hotel and finding parking was a challenge.

There was construction going on around the hotel, blocking everything leading to the hotel, so I couldn't bring my car. After walking around the hotel for about 30 minutes, I parked in the paid parking lot as instructed by the staff (parking fee is $24). But the problem was that when I took a shower at 10pm and tried to dry my hair, the dryer didn't work. When I asked the staff for help, I found out that all the electrical outlets in the room we were staying in were out. I then fell asleep in another room without drying my hair and charging my phone. When I told another employee the next day, he just said he was sorry. Not recommended.

Probably the most bang-for-your-buck stay in Queenstown. Easy checkin and checkout, fresh and clean rooms, and relatively nice for what you pay.

The rooms are clean and tidy. They are very small - the shower and toilet open right out into the room. No space to get changed privately when showering so def don’t share with someone you aren’t completely comfortable with!

I could see how this would be a great hotel but right now there is construction on the street right outside, nowhere to park to load/unload your vehicle, and the construction was right outside my window. If you aren't in your room all day and don't have a car I guess it would be ok. There is a (paid) parking lot right next to the hotel and you only have to pay from 0800-1800 but I did get a parking ticket one day when I went inside to get my car key to put the receipt inside my car. Recommend downloading the parking app.

The rooftop was comfortable and I could spend a relaxing time.

The pillows were too big and not comfortable. The lighting in the room was automatic and motion sensors so even at night If you moved in a particular direction the lights would go off. Noise on the street in the morning due to construction.

Uncomfortable bed squeaked every time I turned in my sleep — plexiglass is not a good substitute for a proper frame.

Clean and tidy. Friendly and helpful staff. Facilities are relatively new. Love the toilet lights which could be turned on when it senses someone inside so I do not have to find the button to turn on the lights. The coloured room light was so playful too. The hotel has a lot of social space to sit and have a sip of drink from the vending machine. Only few minutes walk to CBD.

If you need a place to stay, this is the perfect place. So close to downtown and everything. Within 5-10 min walk. It does not have that much great view of the lake but roof top bar might help you for that. There is a construction going on the back side of the place but it wasn’t bothering as much. The staff is awesome. I asked one hour late check out last minute and they accommodated. They also offer free coffee vending machine- but the hot water contained a few dirts in it :/ overall i love to stay here again

In general this is a very tourist friendly hotel from location perspective. The hotel staff is responsive. There is no fridge in the room. But hotel staff can keep some small food for you in a fridge in their office which is helpful.

The property was clean, attractive and offered everything one might need. The place has been thoughtfully and sensibly designed for guests. My only complaint would be the motion sensor lights which were often annoying.

The Mi-Pad app worked seamlessly for us. The room was smaller than others on our trip, but had movement sensors for things like the bathroom at night (so you didn't need to find a switch in the dark in an unfamiliar place). Far enough to be quiet, but close enough to walk everywhere and the view from the rooftop patio at sunset was perfection. The staff was over the top for us as well, though we only needed them during daytime hours, so we can't comment on the after hours service.
