Very reasonably priced and has all the basics. A bit far from downtown but walkable if you are game

Close to downtown Carmel, 15 minute walk

This cute place was just perfect for our 2 night stay. The room was fresh and clean, comfy bed, and we loved the location near the back of this charming older but updated property. Loved the little patio space outside the "back door" for morning cup of tea. A small desk would have been helpful in our standard King room. The staff was professional and friendly. We will return!

The Vendange staff was helpful and friendly. The room I stayed in was comfortable and roomy. The room was cleaned daily, and I didn’t even have to request it! I would definitely stay there again. Thank you, Vendange!

Staff was so friendly and the property is amazing, it has such cute gardens and an outdoor seating areas with a firepit. About a 20 minute walk from downtown and the beach. I'll definitely stay here again.

Quaint rooms and property, outdoor firepit was very nice touch. Staff was very helpful and kind. - Parking is very tight, staff relies on guests to be considerate when parking which they were not at all yesterday.

Area was nice, room was smaller than expected but clean and comfortable. Bathroom counter too narrow. Evening & morning staff were not very unfriendly, they seemed put out. Evening person barely made eye contact, she seemed bothered that we were there, we felt like an after thought. No light was on outside our door, could barely see how to use the room card. I asked multiple times where I should park, she uttered "over there" while randomly waving their hand in the general direction of some parking spaces. I asked for clarification on if there was a specific space or way to park. I asked for clarification 3 times & got the same answer (she literally repeated exactly what she said before). So i just did the best I could. I arrived at night it was very dark, parking spaces were lined with red paint on a red brick (I could not see at night). I was conscientious in making sure how I parked allowing room for other cars. I was chastised in the morning for not parking correctly, that person made sure to point out to me that I parked wrong & what an inconvenience I had caused for other guests.

Love this place! Charming and within walking distance to beach and downtown Carmel. Staff very friendly and excellent service! Can’t wait to come back!

The walls are paper thin. Of course you always get a noisy neighbor who wants to listen to telenovelas at 2 in the blessed morning, and there is no one to complain to. There is only a space heater for your heating needs? They try to give you good value.

Vendange Carmel Inn & Suites was a gem in an absolutely beautiful part of Califonia. Great little hotel that was easy to get to and from and spitting distance from Carmel center. This hotel might not look all that from the outside, in fact, we actually drove past it, but the rooms were worth every penny. Great place to hang your hat while enjoying the beauty of Carmel by the Sea

The front desk staff were super friendly and accommodating. The room was really nice. Comfy bed. Shower water pressure could be a bit stronger. The room was very clean.

Loved the facilities, however, our room did not have AC, only a portable oscillating fan. We would have liked the room a little cooler for sleeping/showering and thought it would be unbearable in the summer months. The mattress could be updated also. Other than that, clean and staff was great. We enjoyed our short stay and would come back again next time we visit Carmel!

Noisy, no privacy, isolated. It’s an expensive motel located far from pedestrian Carmel. No reason to ever go there. Reoresentation of services and conditions doesn’t refect reality.

Very clean and quiet location. There was a small bump under the carpet near the restroom and the bathroom tile was cracked.

Great price for a clean and cozy overnight stay. Enabled us to have a fancier dinner in one of Carmel’s expensive restaurants. The decor, wine kitsch, is playful and appreciable. The booking through Expedia was simple and quick. This is a simple place that is cozy and well taken care of by thoughtful owners. I’d stay again and again.

I like the garden ,but the front desk was terrible not speak well English ,very difficult to communicated. She gave us the room without air , only have fan . The king size room just right on the street ,very noisy.

We booked for our 39th anniversary. It was ok. It was warm while we were there and the only options were leaving all windows open and a pedestal fan. One day the shower wouldn’t shut off and when they fixed it the water was only luke warm. The Wi-Fi was strong and weak. One night the tv could not get signal. Our room had a fire pit behind it and people would talk loudly until late in the night drinking wine plus the hotel fronts a road which is noisy, hard to sleep. The manager/owner was helpful when we had problems.

Surprisingly awesome place. It has details that are hard to find in more expensive places. Very peaceful. Loved it. A+++

Old small.

The day time receptionist on our departure day was great. A different check receptionist o our arrival day was quite rude and unhelpful. We've sayed here before and never encountered such rudeness.

Office suppose to open at 8. Caucasian lady front desk arrived at 845 … she was not apologetic … such a hassle cause I needed to leave as I had appt in San Francisco… railing to stairs in front office very unsteady. Needs a lot of safety issues … bed sheets was gritty also top sheet … coffee maker container not washed clean
