It a quaint older motel, it would be almost perfect except for the really bad carpet and the over fragrance of what ever carpet cleaner or powder they use. We stayed in the pet room which I expected it to have vinyl floors.

It was about what I expected for the price. Only real downside was the shower head was really bad. Needs to be replaced. Room air conditioner quieter than most hotels.

We love stopping to eat at the oasis restaurant when ever we travel thru Raton for the last 30 years but have never stayed at the motel till this week as we are usually pulling an RV. The motel looks aged but the interior is awesome with kingsize ,comfortable bed and really nice furniture. The bathroom could use a little updating but hey, everything worked well and the hot water was quick. Plus you can walk about 50 steps and have a great meal that’s well frequented by the locals. Would recommend this motel to friends and family and will be staying there again. Another plus is that it is pet friendly.

Upon arrival and on the road for 10 hrs we could not get in to our room. Motel office close and no one answered when I was calling. Worst experience I have ever had, I should not be charged for this. Also this motel shouldn’t be part of Expedia network or next time we will book through another site.. really bad customer service or no customer service at all!!

This place is ridiculous!!! The waitstaff runs everything, since the manager is completely absent. We had set up reservations and when we got there after driving 12 1/2 hrs, only to find a sign that said cash or check only taped to the door. They couldn't run a credit card or anything but the next day they were sure happy to "run" it then and steal our money. No one was there that could authorize a cancellation when Hotels called them. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!?

Spent a night at the Oasis Botique Motel on my way back to Colorado from New Mexico. Notice the name is Botique and not Boutique, and it is just an old motel and it looked old from the outside too.
The inside on the other hand was quite comfortable and well equipped. The bathroom can use a little upgrade, otherwise the place was not bad.
The motel has a restaurant and it was popular with locals in the morning. Both the restaurant and motel are cash or checks only, no credit cards.

The staff were nice enough to offer us 3 rooms. One was not cleaned, another had such a strong incecticide smell that keeping windows open for 2 hours did not help, and the third seemed cleaned but the bed sheets were obviously used, there was some... splatter. We left.

The room was very nice and clean. It smelled so good when we walked in .. the stuff was nice.
The view was beautiful and two deer came ant eat right out our room.
The only problem was no hot water for a shower.

The room was fine, the staff friendly, and the restaurant in the best in town. The only problem, they don't tell you before the motel is cash or check ONLY. The same credit card you reserve it with can't be used.

The check in was easy and staff was super friendly. The rooms were older but clean and overall comfortable. We were a large party and booked 3 rooms for our overnight stay as we were passing through Raton. I would definitely stay again as it was an affordable option for a clean and comfortable way to catch some much needed rest on our journey.

Older hotel but big rooms and very comfortable beds. Cafe out front was fantastic.

The property is old but clean. We felt safe and comfortable. Staff was friendly and the restaurant had good food that was right on site.

Slow check in..Owners Busy trying to go home... I get it, fine.. no coffee shop as listed, cafe doesn’t open until 11 so no breakfast to even buy..inconvenient...no coffee in room, no internet password, tv didn’t work.. nobody answers phone... no desk agent to help. May be a 1 star at best... quiet decent bed.shower.... that’s it.
