The lady in the office was rude for no reason, just out rite nasty. The room was bare bones but that's what I expected for 85 bucks. When i left my room at with an hour before checkout she turned my room card off and I had to get her each time I wanted to get back in, rediculas

Good price and convenient location. My boyfriend and I were a little disappointed with minor details. We noticed there was a coffee maker in the room which we tried using in the morning but there was no filter. Also, the single tiny bar of soap that is provided completely dried out our skin and no lotion was provided. Normally it’s not a big deal to us because we usually bring our own toiletries but this was a last minute stay and we did not get a chance to pack like we normally do. It would’ve been nice to have a little travel size lotion or at least have a different kind of soap that didn’t leave us completely dry. Another detail worth knowing is you will only get one key to your room even if there are two people staying. They will ask for a $20 deposit (cash only) when you check in which we were not aware of. Luckily we had a twenty on us. They did state they would return it when we return the key at check out, which they did. It was decent for the price and would consider booking again. We would just be more prepared next time.

Modest, but clean and more than adequate. Fairly large fridge was a nice surprise! Within walking distance is a pizza/brew restaurant and a bit farther we discovered a place with great fish tacos.

Hidden gem, great staff. Friendly service, clean accommodations. Wonderful amenities in the rooms. Great for a single person busy that needs their rest or an entire family that likes safe, clean, friendly atmosphere's and is respectful of other occupants.

The accommodating price point brought me to the motel… The front desk associates were an immediate selling point. They are so kind and welcoming! The room was quiet, simple, and had everything I needed- peace,
A working television, a good sized mini fridge, a microwave, and a clean bathroom with a shower and working hot water. If I could come and clean there a few days a week in exchange for the peaceful rest I finally received!? I would do it. The only points off were the cracked mirror, an arm chair that had seen better days, and a few old cigarette burns on the top comforter.

Soothing, therapeutic, relaxing, and very beautiful Indian music played softly in the background as I walked the grounds. The music, along with the quaintness and cleanliness of the rooms, made the stay special and memorable. Someday.......I will be back.

Check in woman was extremely rude. Maybe they rent this place to criminals and feel the need to grill anyone who checks in. Not appreciated all and not returning. RUDE.

super close to the beach, clean, safe. the restroom sink took a while to drain the water after washing hands or brushing teeth. the restroom smelled bad when i first walked in, but the smell went away. other than that, the room was very nice!

Very bad bed bugs situation, left with my body covered with bed bugs bites it was horrible and disgusting and the lady manager refused to acknowledge and apologize for the harm and discomfort.

I had a class in Ventura. The Ventura Beach House Motel, was very nice. The problems was they only had 1 wash cloth in the bathroom. Also, they need an ice machine. They told my husband. Oh it’s not far there’s a liquefied store down the road. In the dark they said it was walking distance, about a quarter of a mile give or take a few steps he made it. Then he had to walk back in the dark with the ice. Other than these 2 issues we enjoyed our stay.

Am a weekly traveler to Ventura for work last 3yrs. Finally a budget motel that overdelivers - outside looks almost new, rooms clean/bed comfortable, just the opposite of the Days Inn in Camarillo where I used to stay at the same rate. Stay here!

When we checked in- they changed the price from my Expedia price- saying we owed an extra $49.95 Expedia FEE, for booking using Expedia .
If Expedia charges me for using their site- I’ll never use Expedia again.
The room is dirty, lamps are broken, shower head broken - No refunds - so we were stuck.
My sons room had bed bugs . BED BUGS!!

Woman who checked me in was so rude. Never been told NO VISITORS!” It was one of the first things out of her mouth. Called my grandson in and said had to see his drivers license..what?? It was my car, my credit card and my drivers license on counter. It was all very insulting and rude, all for a 1940’s junky, not updated motor court type motel in Ventura..a town I use to call home. Since the fair was in town, this piece of trash room cost me $287.00 because they jacked up the prices or Expedia did.. At the counter, she rented the next room for a quote of half that with me standing there! Unbelievable..

Initially, the unit didn’t give us a feeling of cleanliness. We asked the cleaning person to come clean the next day. After the cleaning, it looked so much better. Dusts were gone, floors are clean, bathroom sparkled. It changed how we felt about the motel room, from a 2-star to a 3-star. The bed was supportive, there was a mini fridge and a microwave. Pretty good!

To start off, the staff was very nice and accommodating; and I guess for the price it was decent. However, it is a budget motel. Super-thin towels, one had a stain in it and I was also put in an accessible room where the shower head was down at my waste. It did have an extension, but it was kind of a pain to take a shower. The room smelled strongly of that typical cleaner. But again, the staff was very nice so I'd give the place a "meh" but the staff a thumbs up.

Condescending staff that attempted to treat me like a street walker . . . The bed reeked of human sweat—the 2 double bed room was offered as only 1 availability left online—upon my arrival the staff tried to turn it around as though I had purposely requested it and was trying to sneak someone else in and kept repeating “no visitors!” Demanded payment up front—a first for me; offered me their worst room and then showed me one with carpet—I had come by bus for ocean healing for zpirit,mind &body-too late and too dark for me to find other accommodations, even though they nastily said they would refund my money when I requested to see the room before paying—I was stuck with them and refocused on my purpose for being there; and the only good I could see was they were close to the water and good restaurants—I will alert my contacts to avoid this low class high-priced dump!!!

Smells like cigarettes even though I don’t smoke they kept asking to not smoke in the room. I kept telling them I don’t smoke and were very rude in the office.
