Galley is an amazing restaurant on the property. They can do alot to accommodate food allergies, especially gluten, nuts and dairy. Wonderful property and surrounding shops.

Wish there were a fitness centre. Everything else was PERFECT

Very nice and spacious. We do plan on making another trip up here soon

The internet was spotty and there wasn’t staff on site. It is attached to a restaurant bar which could make it noisy on weekends.

The hotel is very well kept with comfortable beds and bathroom accommodations. One must climb over 40 steps to get to the room which can be challenging for some people. The hotel is very private and is located above a restaurant/bar. The hotel supplies some breakfast items as a self serve —nice feature, if interested. Hotel is walkable to the Main Street in Marietta which has some restaurants, bars, stores, etc. in addition, a ride in a car can take you to Harmar as well as other areas along the Muskingham River. Would highly recommend.

Loved this place!!!! So nice and within walking distance of a lot of places. Would definitely stay again if ever back in the area.

Beautiful rooms (by far the best in town) in historic setting. The Hackett, now reborn, was a notorious run-down seedy flophouse when I was growing up. Negatives: (1) No elevator; be prepared to walk up 2 long flights to 3rd-floor rooms (help with luggage is available, and an elevator is in the works); (2) facility is next door to the Adelphia Music Hall, which can create noise issues for some folks until 10 pm on show nights, although I didn't find it unpleasant or too loud; and (3) there was no channel guide to be found in the room and spotty TV reception. These are minor nits compared to quality of facility and helpfulness of staff.

Great stay at the Hacket Hotel. Very clean and comfortable room. We did not have a chance to try the restaurant as it was a Sunday and close but we went to the Lafayette Hotel for dinner and it was good. The town is worth a visit. Overall a hreat stay.

Bathroom was modern and very nice & clean

Vintage and nicely updated hotel. Room was large and comfortable. Downtown location was convenient to the outdoor concert we attended. The hotel is a three story walk up which may be an issue if you have mobility issues. If we are in the area, would stay again!

The hotel was beautiful yet affordable, historic but modern and it was central to the downtown area so we were able to walk around to everywhere we wanted to go. The only downside was we only stayed one night! We will definitely be back but will stay more than one night!

Beautiful old hotel renovated very nicely. Problem was we were unaware of the 42 steep stairs to climb to get to our room. We carried only what we needed as we would have had a hard time bring up a suitcase. We are elderly (80 and 78) We would not have booked there if this was made known to us. Also strange not to have no one on property to welcome you or assist.

It was a very unique and enjoyable experience.

The most beautiful property in Marietta and surrounding areas. However if you have trouble walking up stairs, this hotel is not for you. About 40 stairs to get to room, but you'll get an amazing workout!!!

Other than climbing two flights of stairs, our stay was amazing. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. The room was exceptionally clean. This was the second time we stayed at the Hackett, and it won't be the last!

It was a super cute hotel, and very easy to check in and out. We really liked the rooms and learning a bit about local history.

Large, beautiful room with very nice bedding. Will definitely stay there again. There is no elevator and it’s about 40 steps to climb to the 3rd floor where rooms are. Wasn’t an issue for me, but good for people to understand that.

Beautiful historical property in the heart of Marietta. Has a great restaurant. Nice quiet stay. Note: there are no elevators and there are two flights of stairs to climb to get t the bedrooms.

Most comfortable bed I've slept on in years. You must be in good shape to access rooms....50+ stairs to navigate so if you have much luggage or are elderly, I hope you're in good shape!

I wasn't sure about check in because we were scheduled to arrive near 10:30 but the hotel sent us a message with instructions and it was super easy to get our keys and find our room. The room was beautiful and very clean. The things available in the common area were great. We were there on a night with no show downstairs so things were very quiet in our room. It was a great experience and we hope to stay again, longer next time.

Place is amazing . Good food and bar. However we stayed in the suite and the breakfest place was right out side our door. there was also a band playing all night right under us. Very loud when trying to sleep. Also due to the bar there were very obnoxious people right outside our room until around 2 am. Take away that and this place would be exceptional .

Beautiful room, charming historic hotel. Loved the convenient location to restaurants and easy walk to our concert venue at People's Bank Theatre. I have to comment on the live band downstairs until midnight. Definitely the one major downside of an otherwise great experience. You can hear it like you are in the room, so don't expect to fall asleep early if it is a night there is live music.

The rooms were beyond excellent - nicely appointed, spacious and immaculate. The food at the restaurant was very good. There was a room accessible to all 5 rooms that was a general space with seating and a coffee maker. There was NO handicapped access of any sort and that was not noted in the general information on line. The rooms are all on the 3rd floor, which was mentioned (47 steps). I was able to have a young person carry the bags upstairs, but in the morning there was noone around to assist with the trip downstairs. There was no room service despite there being a restaurant immediately downstairs. (I had been told it was possible, but then it became an unresolved issue so I had to go back down - and up - the stairs in order to have dinner). The phone had no instructions or labels for reaching the desk(s) so I had to use my cell phone to speak with management. There was no information in the room about the services available or anything in the area, or even the available television channels. A "free breakfast" that was indicated in the original posting consisted of a few small boxes of cold cereal and some pop tarts. The restaurant downstairs was not open for service and there were no restaurants close by.

Beautiful, historic hotel in the heart of downtown Marietta. I'd give this hotel 10 stars out of 5 if that were possible. I have only two concerns, one of them trivial. First, if you have a bad heart or walk with a cane, this hotel is not for you, it does have a mandatory long and steep stairway. It is an historical old hotel, after all. And second, my admittedly trivial concern, a hotel this fine and fancy should offer its guest something better than non-dairy creamer for the coffee. But I'm a coffee junkie.
