I'm not sure what it was, but the first floor and lobby area smelled horrible. The rooms were OK.
Otherwise, a typical Hilton hotel. Nothing close by but a gas station and McDonalds.
Be aware that while this is a "pet friendly" hotel, the pet fee is an OUTRAGEOUS $75 PER NIGHT!! Which is not on the Hotels website anywhere or I would have picked somewhere wlse. And they don't even offer any pet amenities. I'll definitely skip this hotel next time.

The room was roomy clean and comfortable. The front staff was cold, unfriendly, non welcoming, offered no notice of pool or breakfast room/hours. The kitchen staff the was nice. The food was okay.

The young person who whacked us in was on robot mode. Did not give us any directions. Why they charged us $50 extra. Which was for incidentals which would be refunded as a check out. Just unemotional.
But the room was clean and quiet, and the free breakfast was OK. I’d stay here again.

Nice, clean property in a quiet location. We had everything we needed for our stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was adequate, although they were often out of items or slow to restock. Overall a good stay.

The desk would not my daughter check in, as she only had cash for the incidentals. Not a credit card. Very disappointed with Hampton. Please refund my stay.

Short staffed at the desk. Room was clean but there was no face soap until we asked. Leftover food and beverages from previous occupant were left in the fridge. There was no information in the room for local food or entertainment in the area. Coffee cups were not replenished as they were used. The hotel was clean and had a nice view out the window of the mountains. On the whole a nice experience but don't expect perfection.

Really nice. Clean, comfortable, and in a great location for easy access to IKEA, restaurants are just an exit away with many options. The hotel offers breakfast.

Night shift attendant was very nice. Checkin process was short and easy. Only thing I don’t love is the $50 required incidental fee that they hold.

This was an extended stay to see family while on a trip for an appointment. So, we enjoyed the comfortable rooms and breakfast could have a little more variety but was good. The access to the hotel is a little tricky with Bangerter HWY but we managed ok. Was a nice stay for sure. It was quiet, just what we needed.

Hotel was clean, staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a good spread with lots of variety. It’s located in a good spot between Salt Lake and Provo, making both areas easy to access from the hotel. Only gave 4 stars for comfort because the beds were very hard and I prefer a softer bed. But overall, very nice hotel.

Just an overnight stay. Convenient location for our needs...a little tricky to get to. Our bed and pillows were comfy cozy🙂 The shower head needs a fix...but otherwise clean, friendly front desk and breakfast crew. Good price!

Staff is great. Hotel is new and clean. Nice breakfast. The only problem we had is that room cleaning didn’t show up for 3 days leaving us with garbage and towels and no fresh sheets.

The facilities were excellent but the host who checked us in on arrival was less than personable and condescending and rude. I’m sure she was having a bad day. All the same I was glad not to see her again during my stay.

We stayed here for 3 nights and didn't get good rest. There were many children running around getting water all over the elevators, running up and down hallways, yelling for one another, slamming doors, etc. The elevator only had one working and this caused additional traffic to the stairs, which is where our room was located. We heard that door slamming every 5-10 minutes throughout the entire stay. The walls are paper thin. I would not recommend this hotel or stay here again.

Hotel person at check in was apathetic. Seemed bothered that I was there. Room smelled like smoke. I was told they had not other rooms and that I should talk to the manager in the morning about a “gift card or something”. At check out no one was at the desk so I just left. I expected more from this hotel line, but very dissapointed

Hotel is in a safe area, easy access, clean, staff was great, Hotel is cheaply made, sound proofing is non existent, bathroom door is barn style a small farm animal could walk through the gaps around the door haha Otherwise a great place.

At check in we had prepaid, they charged us additional for the stay. They put is in a disgusting room with the worst smell. I couldn’t even breathe from whatever the smell was. The switched us rooms. I asked to be refunded the additional charge. We have stayed here a few times and each time there’s an issue. We will no longer stay here.

Housekeeping cleans room every other day. When they cleaned room they only changed the bedding and provided clean towels in bathroom. The floor did not get vacuumed and the countertops did not get cleaned. Stayed at this Hampton before and for some reason the shower drain always gets clogged and nearly flood the floor. Probably wont stay at this Hampton again even though this hotel chain is usually my go to. No excuse for housekeeping not doing a thorough job of cleaning especially when they only service every other day.

I stayed at this property a couple of years ago and was impressed. I loved how clean and well kept it was. With my first visit there was a small kitchen area in the room that was nice but those were removed by the current management. I really miss this feature.
With this visit the property was well run and the staff were very nice. The breakfast each day was very good! Lots of selection and tasty. Loved the Precor recumbent bike in the exercise room. I used it every day I was there. The only suggestion I have is that it would be nice if they had extra pillows available.
Keep up the good work and I look forward to staying here on my next visit to Utah!
