The hotel was clean and was close to where I needed to be for my trip. The room was spacious, comfortable and laid out well. But it was VERY loud. It has an industrial aesthetic and every sound is amplified. I was awoken multiple times throughout the night due to loud sounds coming from above my room and the hallway. I believe my room was below the housekeeping headquarters or kitchen. There is also train track just off the parking lot that is frequently traveled. The hotel internet was not functional and hotel staff did not know when it would be repaired. so I was unable to work remotely as planned. It also meant that none of streaming apps on the hotel TVs worked. I was only in town for the night, otherwise I would have likely switched hotels. I would not return simply due to the noise.

Overall it was a great hotel, room, and stay. We did have difficulty with the bed side lights not working well, flickering at times. Also the dead bolt did not work but we used the other locks. The pool was nice but a bit cold (not big enough to do laps, so should be warmer esp in frozen winter.

Clean, quiet, convenient to many OSU and other destinations in central Columbus. Very friendly staff, very welcoming to our dog. Reasonable fees. We'll be back!

Property had great parking option. Rooms were neat and clean. We enjoyed our stay!

The hotel is very nice and clean. The shower never got hot, barely got warm. Never stayed at an Aloft before so did not know what was going on in the hotel.

Great hotel highly recommend

Very clean, comfortable and uniquely styled hotel. Also very reasonably priced. Close to OSU campus. Breakfast options are abysmal but very friendly staff. Don’t eat there but definitely stay there.

This property has a fun bar area with a patio and fireplaces. It’s walkable to Ohio State making it a nice place to stay when visiting.

Everything is loud. You hear everything- people in other rooms around and above you, in the hall, the train that goes by. Hope you’re not shy about what goes on in the bathroom because everyone hears it.

Very nice hotel.

Aloft properties are becoming my favorite places to stay! Always clean and modern look and feel with a great fun atmosphere.

Only complaint is the circuitry for the lighting in the room was quite strange. Lights would seemingly work and not work based on which switches were flipped or not, on top of that there were light fixtures that didn't work whatsoever. Overall a great stay!

The hotel is awesome but train is adjacent and runs all night and loud

Sheets had some stains but overall the room was okay. I locked myself out of my room at one point but the front desk person did not ask for my ID before giving me a new card which made me feel very nervous. The train tracks right next to the hotel was actually a bit loud but not too bad. The housekeepers knocked on my door twice around 8/9 am when I was still sleeping and needed me to come to the door to tell them when I was checking out.

Efficicent and clean. Exactly what you want in a stay.

We stay at this Aloft every time we are in town to visit our daughter at OSU. It’s a very convenient location. But also very clean. We’ve never had any issues. The bar, pool and recreational amenities are fantastic. Highly recommend.

Clean and convenient location, free parking.

The hotel has a modern, minimalist design with small, clean rooms with sparse amenities. The bathroom facilities were clean with a very adequate shower. In the room, there was just a small table with some bench seating, which is not conducive to computer work. I didn't use the WiFi enough to comment on it's adequacy. Breakfasts were a disaster. They were not complementary. You were to order off of a menu, which looked adequate. You ordered from the registration desk and the order was sent to the kitchen. There was a small window through which you communicated with the kitchen staff, who were overwhelmed. The delay was such that some people walked out without waiting for their orders to be delivered. The best thing about which I can comment was the exercise room, which was one of the best hotel gyms I've experienced. They had several high-end cardio machines, a functional trainer, and a set of dumbbells with two benches.

Solid Aloft, cute design. Our room had a Dohm sound machine and a fender amp style Bluetooth speaker, nice little design pluses.

Checkin was poor. No one at the front desk for 10 minutes.

It has a really nice feel I enjoyed my stay.

Not far from many restaurants and shopping and a riverfront trail.
