I love the place where I could prepare my own food. I just did not like the cleaner knocking at our doot to clean the room for the next guest at 8am while we were sound asleep when check out time says 11am. But overall the place was great. I just did not like the cleaner knocking at our door by 8am to clean the room fo r the next guest.

The mattress needs to replace !

Upon entering the room, we were overcome with a smell of mold and mildew. After a small look around, I found the source to be the liner of the shower curtain. I turned on the fan in the bathroom and closed the door. That night was a horrible experience, not to mention the upstairs neighbor stomping constantly since 5am. The next morning, I went to the front desk to request a new room. The front desk said a new room would be ready by 12pm. Upon entering our new room, that familiar smell was apparent, but not as strong. I happen to see a housekeeper outside one of the other rooms and asked her about the curtain. She said she would take a look, and suggested that she would replace the shower curtain liner. She did, however the smell was still faintly present. This combination, the thin floors, uncomfortable beds, and mildew smell pretty much ruined our weekend.

Me, my wife, our son and our senior dog stayed here for 2 nights. We had no major issues with the room itself. The bed was comfortable, but I can’t speak for the bedding (pillows & blankets) as we had brought our own. The bathroom floor was dirty and could have been cleaned better, but that didn’t ruin our stay. The location is great as it’s easily accessible to everything in Port Aransas. The staff were very friendly and were prompt when I had asked of something. We will definitely stay here again. The only issue we ran into was we had an upstairs room and our senior dog didn’t like the steps too well, so next time we’ll request a downstairs room.

Overall, our stay was very pleasant. The room is clean and nice overall. The kitchen does have utensils and a few pots and pans to use the bathroom had plenty of towels along with soap, shampoo, etc.. the bed was a bit firm for our taste but comfortable. Multiple pillows but were flat. A couple of dings. 1: fire/smoke detector was hanging down ( they acknowledged that the battery was just replaced) so that was good. 2: a paper towel was left in the microwave from a previous guest. 3 : a recliner the was pictured on the website of the room we stayed in was not present. These things were really minor. None of which were a deal breaker. I would be happy to stay here again. The price was very reasonable and I felt we got more than we needed. The staff were friendly and attentive.

While there was a mix up in staff’s part on our check in the quickly rectified it and all was good. We have stayed here many times and it’s always. Lean, affordable and has great service

We always liked staying here in the past for quickie trips to Port Aransas but in this room the beds were so bad. Springs and hard.

Bedding was poor. Cable was horrible

The property was adequate. Staff were nice and polite. I was mislead about breakfast being included. There are photos showing the nice big breakfast area and it states that there is breakfast included, but there is no type of breakfast at all in actuality

This hotel is great for the price of around $100 a night. It is nearby to plenty fishing spots, gas stations, the ferry, and of course the beach.

The hotel was reasonably priced and in a great location. We were able to walk to local stores and bars and restaurants. I liked that. The bed needed a thicker blanket/comforter. But all in all we had a good stay.

Cute property! Staff was really nice! The room could’ve been a little more clean as far as vacuuming and the bathroom floor. Other than that everything was great. Even had a nice breakfast with a waffle maker.

Was amazed they had changed out the carpet, smelled must better when we walked in. And also new bedding. Bathroom could use some updating. It would be nice if house keeping checked on changing out the garbage daily. Staff should not be smoking around the rooms when the signs on the room doors say no smoking, and then they come in the rooms and smell of smoke.

Clean and spacious room, with convenient location. Had some very loud neighbors so manager made another room available. They were quieter the second night so we stayed in our original room.

The room was clean and already cold for us. I was so happy to come in out of the heat and be able to be cooled off. Very thoughtful workers and above board cleaning staff. I will be returning

Didn't start off good with the AC not working. We had to be put into another room and went from a king to 2 queens. One of the queen beds kept falling off the frame and we were not able to sleep well. Management ended up replacing the AC unit in the original room and all was good after that. Everything else was great the area, pool, breakfast and staff.

Great location by shops in town. Great service, friendly staff.

There was nothing wrong felt like home

We always need a good kitchenette. This motel has a full sized refrigerator, stove and oven, and sink. The counter space left over is small, though. The unit was well stocked with utensils, dishes, pots & pans. There were no blankets for the bed, but when I asked, the staff quickly found some for us.

Great place

It was a great family 2 night stay, I didn't understand why you couldn't take your breakfast back to your room, the breakfast selections were very good and coffee was great, They didn't change the sheets or clean the room but all in all we had a great time!! The place was nice and relaxing, Pool/ Hot tub was great also .

Everyone was realizing nice & helpful. Very clean. Beds were a little hard for me but that’s hard to really tell with my back. I most definitely will stay here again. Close to everything too.
