Cotingas was a really great spot to stay! The ocean view room had a wonderful view and hamac to enjoy the sunset. It is very central, you can go down to the beach and boat taxis in a few minutes (down 110 stairs). The only negative point for us was that we had hot water only the first night, the next 2 nights were only cold water in the shower.
The host was very helpful otherwise and booked a night tour for us with David, who was super knowledgeable and took us around Drake at night to see snakes, spiders and lots of different insects and plants. Definitely worth it to do the night tour in Drake!

I was at the last cabana on the ridge. It had a kitchen in an attached room. It was great to bring back leftovers, make coffee and enjoy local fruit. There were 2 beds, a king and queen. The shower was walk in and everything worked well and was very clean. I ate at the table on the patio, enjoyed the hammock, and entertained by a multitude of birds, ant eater and ajouti. I would definitely come back.

We were very pleased with the staff and the amazing service they provided, especially Abel; he is truly an amazing asset to this property.
Great location, views and close to Corcovado National Park & Caño Island (only a boat ride away).
Our room was not up to par and we were advised that it will undergo renovation soon - It needs it!
