Great hotel and staff. A nice and quiet area. Great place to stay and visit the Eden Valley and Lake District.

Small hotel with personal service. Excellent gin selection in the bar. Tasty menu for dinner and good choice for breakfast. Rooms clean and comfortable. We would book again if we’re out this way.

Clean and comfortable room, friendly and helpful staff, very good food for breakfast and evening meal. Re. the latter, if we lived nearer we would be frequent visitors but unfortunately we live 250 miles away!
Only problem with our room (room 1) was that the shower was pretty poor.
