Arrived and parked out the back where there are several electric charging points.
Checked in at the bar and shown to the room upstairs.
Room was clean and well presented.
I had a small plates selection in the bar for dinner which was very tasty and very filling.
There's also a good selection of beers.
The room was over the bar, but still quiet.
There is no ironing board in the rooms and I requested one from the bar.
It was delivered and I was told the iron was in the room, but after a thorough search I couldn't find it.
There are some great walks that follow the brook and river Mersey the other side of the road. Use Maps on a phone as I would have been lost without it.
Breakfast items are provided in the room and the corridor. There is plenty to choose from, but no cooked options.
A very enjoyable stay and I would be happy to return.
