Fabulous view overlooking the harbor; excellent dinner at the restaurant; room was comfortable. Our room was on the 2nd floor which was great for the view, but I would have appreciated an elevator

This place is only OK. It’s definitely not a resort. The property is in desperate need of an upgrade. Paint was pealing off our porch, and we had foldable plastic chairs which was interesting, as we paid 300/night. No AC except for a tiny fan. It was fine as we were not in our room a whole lot, but paying such a steep price, we expected things like that to be taken care of. Staff was very friendly, and the restaurant is convenient.

Wonderful location with nice views from rooms and free parking at Anacortes terminal with shuttle from/to Lopez terminal to resort. Kitchens consist of mini fridge, microwave, sink and a few completely bare cupboards. Bring everything you may need. Nice enclosed pool but no hot tub. Restaurant good but pricy. Great live music and dancing on weekends. Overall a very nice resort but a bit plain for the price.

The walls were thin and could hear the neighbors and water running in the bathroom. Restaurant was excellent though. Food good.

This hotel has a great fireworks show, unfortunately they made us change our booking from a 2 night stay to a 3 night stay. They said it was their policy over Holidays to have a 3 day minimum but that was not what we were able to book through Hotels.com. They said since we agreed to paying the extra night they would help us out on a discount for our boat slip. In the end they didn't give us a discount, the rooms didn't have any cups, plates, knives or forks in them like they said they did when we called to check. Great place but wish they would have honored the booking or at least followed through with the discount for the dock slip. I also didn't end up with a reward night through hotels.com since it was originally booked for 2 nights not 3.

Only complaint was the plug ins around bed were hidden behind headboard so couldn't plug out cellphones in near bed

Room wasn’t ready when we got there which was fine, but I don’t know why it took over 30 minutes to tell us that (making my 70+ year old father stand with no explanation was mildly irritating). They finally told us it wasn’t ready and to come back in 15 minutes. We came back about 45 minutes later to it still not ready and the above repeats. Now my father is getting impatient and frustrated and asking me what’s going on but I’m still waiting for someone to talk to me. Finally get the room, which has an amazing view but the WiFi randomly goes in and out. Another issue is their pet friendly office collie dog went after a smaller dog in front of me when I was checking in, and then went after my German Shepard when we were standing out front after checking out. I got in between them and stopped it, and a man called the collie back. No apology, no scolding, no nothing. Very strange stay. Being very broke (this was for my fathers 72 birthday) I’m not sure if it was worth the almost $300 for one night….

There are very limited options for staying on Lopez Island. The Islander Resort is the primary one. It is fine - not great but pretty good. The facility and room could use a little care and updating. The restaurant was okay - lunch was much better than breakfast. All in all, a pleasant place that could be better.

Check-in was efficient and easy. Room was clean and nicely furnished. Restaurant was convenient and food was very good. Location was excellent and close to Lopez town center area. Would stay here again.

The view is very nice! And very quiet island. Figuring out the ferry , I found difficult. Be sure to make ferry reservations well in advance!

The room is great, a little dated, but the fixtures are updated and the view is amazing!

We found someone else’s hair in our shower/tub the minute we walked in. The bed’s box spring was very stained (why not cover it?). Art was missing from walls, but the hooks were still there. The bedside clock didn’t work. The bed was comfortable enough, but we were in bed when a groundskeeper came on our balcony to water potted flowers and looked in at us IN BED. Our drapes were open for the view. We won’t be going back. Haven’t had this bad of a stay in a long time.

This is a very nice property located 5 min by car from the ferry terminal. It is on the waterfront. The rooms were clean although a bit dated but comfortable. Because the island is small, it's a great central location. Only concern we had was the noise as we were on the 1st floor of a 2 level building. The people above us were noisy walking and moving furniture around so sound proofing was not great. There is an outdoor pool which was not opened yet and a hot tub. Friends camped behind us on the same resort so nice to have a choice of different options to stay. The restaurant has good food is reasonably priced. The bar was fun with karaoke one night and a band playing with dancing on another night. The view is gorgeous from your deck which faces the water.

Our stay was lovely. The views beautiful. The walls are a little thin so it can get noisy but other than that it was great.

Old and overpriced. Bathroom fixture falling off the wall and stained pillow case. Was a convenient place to stay overnight when halibut fishing. Unfortunately there are not many options.

Islander is a cute funky place. The rooms were clean and just redone. Outside still needs a little love.

Had a beautiful 1 night winter stay! The staff were so nice, the room was large, and the view from the room was unbeatable. Will definitely be back!

Friendly staff, great view. The hotel is close to the village- which was very convenient. Coffee supplies were not replenished during room service.

Beds were comfortable, room was clean, food at the restaurant was excellent

The scenery was absolutely gorgeous. The sunset and bay side views were stunning. The hot tub was nice to go to in the evenings and the massage we got was nice. The puppy squeeling in the room down the way was kinda sad and the kid on our last night that was overhead crying and jumping up and down was a little off putting.

One night stay was good. The rooms arent fancy but had everything we needed and it was clean.

Had camping in San Juan island during past trips. First time book a hotel and it is a ocean view room with decks. Feels good with family with young kids.

Great customer service and overall welcoming. We arrived after eating at The Haven (down the road) and the gal said “we’re so happy you made it” when we arrived. The building our room was in was older, but the view was spectacular. Also, the room was very clean. There was a little kitchenette and the WiFi was strong. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were soft. They had thick towels in the bathroom and provided quality shampoo, conditioner and lotion. We will definitely be back.

Amazing view from patio. Building is older but was clean, had good updates. Staff very friendly and helpful. Sierra and her husband went above and beyond to help us out of a bind, and we appreciate it so much. Will stay again next time on island.

Very very expensive for what amounts to a motel. Beautiful setting and super nice staff. Gym is not real great. Equipment is outmoded.
