Stayed for two nights and everything was excellent, the safe was very friendly and helpful, I had my elderly dog with me and staff made sure I had a ground floor room so she wouldn’t have to walk far etc, I loved they closed the doors to the lobby for quite hours. I would totally come back and recommend this location.

My stay at this hotel was great. It was clean, comfortable, and convenient to a freeway offramp, but still was very quiet. It is a bit tucked away (along with another hotel) and felt very safe. Every employee with whom I interacted was friendly and helpful, especially the woman who checked me in, Carlisa.

Relaxing and comfy. Multiple events in the city and it wasn't noisy with kids running everywhere.

Staff was amazing! Check in was was fast and she was great! When we got to the room the TV would not turn on. Employee brought up batteries, still would not turn on. I looked in the back and the cable was unplugged. Bathroom shower had hard water and stains. Bed were comfy, could use extra pillows and blankets in room. One major issue was 6a the alarm clock went off, then the room next door alarm went off. The one next door went off for 10-14 min, not sure if anyone was in there. Staffs should make sure TV works and alarm clocks are off during cleaning.

It was a convenient location. It was only 8 minutes from DeVos Center. Super clean.

Absolutely wonderful stay! Very friendly and attentive staff. The public spaces and my room were spotless. I don’t remember the last time I stayed at a hotel this clean! I would definitely choose this establishment again!

I usually do not write reviews, but this is one of the better hotels I have stayed in. Good lobby area with games and magazines , clean and upscale rooms, tidy and well designed bathrooms. Overall very pleased with the stay.

The checkin was extremely friendly however we tried to check in an hour early and was told by the front desk it would be a $25 early check in fee. I have never had to pay that at another hotel if rooms were available which rooms were available.

Very clean hotel! Rooms were nice, coffee was hot and delicious, and all of the staff we encountered were VERY polite!
The snacks and drinks were a little pricey, but this is to be expected with convenience.

We always love staying at Tru properties. I will say that the change to the pancake maker from the waffle maker is unfortunate. That might be my families preference though and can't be held against the property. My wife went to get some breakfast, albeit a bit late, but the pancake machine was down, there was no milk, and no cereal available.

This hotel was absolutely perfect and honestly can not rate it high enough. I was traveling with my pup and they made everything flawless and comfortable. The amenities were wonderful along with the magical breakfast and staff were unparalleled. Will definitely be staying here again whenever visiting grand rapids, my new favorite pet friendly stay. :)

I don’t usually take the time to write reviews but I thought this hotel really stood out! The lobby area was so nice with fooseball and board games, the pool was warm and clean, and one of the staff got me breakfast at 9:50 when it closed at 9:00 (I thought it closed at 10, but that’s only on weekends…) I can’t wait to come back again.

Loved the staff, they were beyond friendly and helpful. The breakfast choices were excellent. The cleanliness and overall appearance was excellent. What I liked the best was the comfortable beds, probably the best bed I’ve slept on, in our travels. Will definitely come back!
