We enjoyed our stay at the Golden Nugget. The hotel is very nice, quiet, comfortable and the staff are friendly and helpful. We found the air conditioner to be loud, which caused us to not sleep as well as we would have liked. Also, when staying at the Golden Nugget if you want your room serviced you need to make a request at the front desk. We did not know that which caused a little frustration. We were not visiting Cripple Creek to go to the casinos, but if that is the reason for your visit it’s a lovely hotel convenient to all the casinos.

The room was decent. The clock on the wall was broken, there was food in the refrigerator, looking like it had been in there for 3 or more days. The coffe pot had a pre-filled coffee filter still in the coffee pot. The clerk assined me, and my wheelchair bound mother as far at the end of the hotel as we could get, without consderation for her disability.

The location was great, we arrived early and they offered an early check in only if we paid extra. There was no mention of leaving our luggage at the front desk till we could check in at a later time.

Hotel room was good nothing stood out either way. Employees were very nice at check in and when ever we had a question. Casino staff were also very nice, love that there are shuttles to take you everywhere.

TV was confusing to use. Too many channels, could not find ESPN to watch baseball games or basket ball games, could not find CBS , ABC or NBC. No user guide to explain how TV works, too many sources with no explanation what the sources mean.

It was good for the most pair but there was not microwave in the room and only 1 pack of coffee for 1 cup in the room and if we wanted coffee we had to cross the road and go to casino to get it no continintal breakfast no chair to sit in in room most motel /hotels have at least 1 chair in room people at front desk was very pleasant and nice 😒🙂

I never give bad reviews, but this was too much for me! I arrived at 2:20 pm and Rico at the reception told me that I had to wait 40 minutes for the room to be ready. I went out for a walk and came back and sat down to wait. It turns out that there was a line of people to check in and they gave rooms to all of them before me! because apparently he did not order the room that I had rented to be cleaned. It was super frustrating, they gave me the room at 5:15pm. I had driven over 10 hours to get there and my family and I were super tired.

Everything was excellent from check in to check out! There was a major snow storm while we were there and the staff did a great job keeping everything as clear as possible to keep everybody safe!

If you want to watch any tv you must log into your own streamjng services they dont even offer local chanels
They have a single cup coffee pot with 2 coffee. We were there 4 days maids never came by to replenish coffee, sugar, toilet paper, etc.
Heat pump was so dirty folters had inch of dust and dust was coming out of grills

Check in and check out staff were fantastic. We arrived about 2 hrs earlier than check in and were told they were busy cleaning rooms and our room would be ready in about 30-45 mins. No problem since we were going to eat and then go exploring. When we got to our car, a staff member came to our car to tell us our room was ready! Fantastic customer service! Everyone was smiley, friendly and on top of it! Our first time staying here and it won’t be our last. The property was open, clean and staff we met on each floor were gracious and friendly. Great addition to Cripple Creek. We came to visit the Ice Castles that evening.

Planned a family trip for the Ice castles. Overall Hotel was nice & updated. Host was extremely polite & helpful along with the housekeeping staff. Very pleased with the shuttle service to get around town, however my only "CON" about the amenities is that the pool and hot tub is located at the Golden King with is not on the same property & you have to shuttle there. Golden King was VERY DATED & the host was not helpful at all, did not really want to help with towels or calling shuttle for pick up. Also since it's a casino town, not a lot of options for late night dinner that is kid friendly. Thankfully Maggies was so very generous to accommodate our large/late party.

It was great but I wish that there was a pool on the Golden Nugget property, the only pool was at the Gold King Mountain hotel.

Very nice rooms! Beautiful view! Convenient location! My only complaint is just a preference. I prefer a softer bed. However, my husband loves a firm mattress so it was great for him.

This was a disappointing stay. I've never stayed at a property where cutting corners to sacrifice service was top priority.
Woodys restaurant/bar, what a embarrassment. Obviously short staffed only 3 servers where one only had a clue. They ran out of the majority of food on the menu after being open for a few hours.
The worst was having to sit and watch the staff apologize for not having Peacock to stream the NFL wildcard game. To watch the number of people leave cause they wanted to watch the game or because there was no food was just horrible.
Not a good impression. Will stick to staying at Black Hawk.

The absolute worst bed I have ever slept in, stayed 2 nights and between my girlfriend and I we slept only a couple of hours per night. Ultra stiff bed and the sheets they have are very slippery? Not sure how to describe it but you cant sit still on it..

Check in was listed for 4 PM, we arrived at 5:15 and neither of the two rooms booked were ready. One was ready fairly quickly but when we walked in, the floors were dirty like they had not been vacuumed, food left in the fridge, and the toilet bowl cleaned. Otherwise the property was fine. It was a little misleading that said they have a hot tub/pool, but that is not in this building. It is in their sister property 5 minutes away.

Modern, clean and great staff. The courtesy desk employee Dana was fast, friendly, polite and got us checked in no time! Always a positive experience here.
