The Tree Suites

Would have been helpful to say in the directions to go across to the other hotel to check in. Room was clean and spacious. Just be aware a nearby restaurant turns into a nightclub at 10 pm. Bring your earplugs! Manager was helpful and let me borrow a plug adapter when I had misplaced mine.

Booked last minute. Warm welcome, free upgrade to suite, help with luggage, friendly, comfortable bed, good facilities in room. Would recommend.

Overall, we really enjoyed staying at The Tree for just shy of 14 nights in September 2023, it’s prime location to all that the Skiathos Town has to offer is both good and not so good. The good is that The Tree was easy to book online via Expedia, upon arrival we were warmly greeted and quickly shown to the Penthouse apartment. Dimitri and his team couldn’t have been more helpful. The Penthouse apartment was bright, modern, clean and generally well equipped. Outside there is a spacious seating area with great views over The Old Port and The Bourtzi. A great place to chill out at the end of a long day at the beach and after dinner drinks till late. The not so good aspect is the noise from the nearby port bars until late. Don’t know why the local bars feel the need to or are even allowed to bang out loud music at levels better suited to a concert stadium until the early hours? Fortunately, The Tree’s rooms are fitted with double glazing to help with a more peaceful sleep. All things considered we’d be more than happy to stay again.

The Tree was a fantastic little hotel, it was clean well provided and comfortable. extra mention to the very friendly staff and support (we forgot our keys and they were so quick and friendly to let my son run back and enter) the view from the tree balcony is very much a large tree but this actually is quite nice, it provides a spot of shade and you can relax whilst not being in direct sight of the entire port! - the location is ideal for old town and water taxis. overall a fantastic little hotel and one I would recommend to others.
