Unfortunately, my experience was terrible with the very unfriendly manager and some staff. I ended up not staying there and lost all my money equals two days stay., but there was no mercy. Yes, i was trying to cancel my stay few hours too late but there was no mercy

Staying for 4 nights as usual for business trip, so much better experience. So much improvement compare to previous visits. I have stayed in this hotel for more than 20 days in the last 2 months.

This place should be condemned, I've stayed in some rough places before but this place is the worst. It was so bad we took a look at the room and then just left and stayed at a different hotel. They wouldn't refund our money so we just took a loss and considered ourselves lucky we never stuck it out and contracted a communicable disease, It's that bad. I could go into detail about our room but just trust me and spend your money someplace else, they are not cheap rooms either so if you are hard up try a dumpster it will be cleaner and cozier.

They put me in a basement unit which had weird little flys all night everywhere
Then they put a teenage hockey team directly above me on the main floor who kept me up till 5am .. asked the manager to deal with it Twice and the noise stoll continued.. went to the front desk he said maybe i should go deal with the problem.
I was very upset and dissapointed with that comment from the manager a d not getting any sleep.
I asked for my .oney back and they said i would have to contact someone else...run around bullcrap

The bottom of the shower curtain was black and the tan for the bathroom was so loud was rattling and banging!!!

We asked to be moved from the first assigned room. It didn’t feel safe, with easy access from outside Towels were thin. No blanket on bed, just a bedspread. No shampoo. Tv remote didn’t work. Phone in room didn’t work. And no coffee maker. Expected a full service restaurant, but could only get fries and wings, which were very good. The free breakfast didn’t have a lot of options but was hot and good.

The bath tub was unbelievably dirty. There was clumps of hair under the heat register in the bathroom. There were only 2 outlets for electric use. There were no mirrors in the room except for the one over the sink in the bath room. The breakfast was limited and it was cold. .
It did have a nice view of the harbour.

Room smelled like an old room that was smoked in for 50 years and re-painted several times. If I could have opened a window for fresh air, it would have been ok, however, as with most places, windows are sealed shut...

It left a lot to be desired. We are booked to spend 2 more nights here and if it was not too late to cancel I would.
The room did not smell fresh, there was not a stopper in the sink, there was not a proper place to hang your coat, the breakfast was the worst yet during our 2 weeks of traveling in Nova Scotia. They said there was a restaurant and the entire menu consisted of chicken wings and fries. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The telephone did not work.
Toilet seat was moving, needs fixing.
The sink faucet fell off in my hand when I tried to turn on the tap.
Long black hair in the sink, my hair is short and grey.

The staff was kind and friendly. The hotel/casino is very worn and did not have a proper restaurant as advertised.
Our room was “updated” but poorly done. The hallway to our room was very nicely done on the second floor.
We did sleep comfortably, which is why we were there.
A hot breakfast of scrambled eggs, bacon and potatoes was provided, which was nice.
This hotel also takes a $250.00 deposit which we felt was excessive. It was returned on our card at check out.

Room was clean and ready for us for the most part. Duvets had a few stains on them and so did the bath tub but for us, we had a great stay and no issues. Room was a lot bigger than we expected.

This property needs some work. Wavy walls and ceilings from water damage. Small room no place to put suitcases only on the floor. No amenities in the room not even one glass for water etc. there was a tv. Would not book here again for the price they are asking.

Our room was clean but a bit worn. Only 2 bathtowels, sink didn’t drain properly, shower head was floppy.
But it was quiet and a good location for us. Nice water view.

This is an older property, but on the water-front so likely the reason behind the rate charged. No elevator so luggage has to be carried upstairs (unless you're on ground floor). The room I was in has a door that looks as tho it was subject of a S.W.A.T. raid !! TV was an Amazon Fire but to watch regular cable it was necessary to change "input" but there was no instruction re this. Room was on highway side of hotel and it would have been nice to use window venetian blinds BUT the control cords had been removed. Room had a self-standing closet which was not conveniently situated and had all of three clothes hangers - all plastic, 2 white 1 black. A serious lack of electrical outlets and USB ports for all the electronics we all use these days. Yes it was clean and the bed was quite comfortable, but really overpriced based on the deficiencies noted.

Did not like to much, we had dirty towels in the bathroom and fruit flies in the room, in the hall the the small table needed a good dusting and the hall rug needed to be cleaned

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable. Shower and bath was spacious. Breakfast was good. Room smelled a little musty but got used to it quickly. Overall decent stay for one night.

I booked 3 nights. Immediately after walking up the stairs i could smell musty old carpet. Hoping the room would be better. It wasn't.
It smelled like old cigarette smoke masked with some sort of perfume to hide it.
I had an insant headache and it got worse as I startwd to unpack. I decided to cancel my reservation and walked out.
I did receive my full refund, however i had to wait till Monday as the manager was not in on the weekend.
Overall the service wasn't too bad. Cleanliness was a huge issue.
