My king room was well appointed, the chairs were comfy and the bed was great! Usually I have to ask for an extra blanket or bring one of my own, but theirs was perfect!

The bed was creaking every move we made loudly, felt like sleeping on hard lumpy mattress. It was clean inside. The outside is inundated by ducks and their feces. But the view is nice from inside the room. A stale odor lingered even though bedding seemed new and clean.

This is a cute property with great staff. Right on the lake with a view from all rooms.

This was by far the best most comfortable place we stayed during our trip. The bed was very comfortable, the view from our room was lovely, the food was GREAT with portions so large 2 of us couldn't finish 1 order! There was a stain on the carpet but other than that it was wonderful!

We liked it! Got there late but got call from clerk so we knew to pick up our key from the bartender. We were worried it would be noisy since the restaurant and bar looked popular but we heard nothing except the ducks. The lawn between the lodge and lake was super popular with ducks! No AC so we kept the screen door open and it was nice and cool but we did hear the ducks some. Fine by us. The mirror was cool - motion sensing + makeup light. Looked like the room had been refurbished and they did a good job. Some plaster had fallen from the ceiling showing a stained ceiling above but not a big deal. It is a lakeside lodge so we expect a certain amount of “rustic” to go along with the “charm”. The beds were comfortable and the room seemed nice and clean which are the most important things to us along with quiet. Sitting on the balcony looking out on the lake in the morning was very nice, too. Our family enjoyed watching the ducks antics.

No air conditioning, the room was uncomfortable because of how hot it got.

The rooms are beautifully done. It was incredibly clean and the housekeeping staff deserves big kudos. The staff was kind. The only complaints I have are the pillows smelled like an old man had rented that room for an extended stay, the fitted sheets don’t quite fit so they don’t stay on and our room was overran with sugar ants. Our 7 year old woke up covered in them. Stay to cost ratio didn’t quite match up but overall it was not terrible- we needed a place to sleep and the beds were comfortable. The restaurant also had great breakfast! We’d definitely come back if they added a hot tub.

Nice motel beside a lake. Good wheelchair room and reasonably priced restaurant.

Liked everything about our stay , except no AC in rooms

Upstairs pet-friendly room was clean, and had a nice balcony with view of the lake. There was also a nice grassy area, that was unfortunately too wet because the sprinklers were on almost constantly.

Couldn't turn on bathtub faucets and had to call for maintenance. Also, we had ants in the room.

Bed was very old and used

New owners are amazing! So nice to see the continued progress.

Motel not lodge and couldn’t find anyone to check in for hours

The room is beautiful and very dog friendly. Super clean and Trisha at the front desk is a sweetheart. We got here earlier then check in time and where able to check in after the room was clean so 2hrs early.

Big room, shower head pathetic, comforter at it’s end, nice views of the lake, would stay again.

Had a nice time and view was awesome. Got food poisoning the first night on the seared ahi tuna special so spent all weekend in bed. We love lakeside so we will be back but normally stay in our rv.

Love this place

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights in an upper level room. The view was outstanding and the room was a great size. However the rest of the weekend went downhill. There is a note to turn the heater off when not in the room which means it's freezing when you get in and takes a long time to heat up. The shower curtain has mild all over it. And there were aunts covering the sliding door. The worst part was the beds. No support support from the mattress and the hardest pillows known to man left my husband and I in a ton of pain. Not staying here again.

All lake view. Large Balcony with plenty of space. Large room with dining table.

The staff was great, the room and view was good. It’s just an outdated property so by comparison to other hotels it was hard to give it more than ok.

Great view of the lake, close to other things we had going on at Tugman State Park and in North Bend/Coos Bay. Room was comfortable and clean. Staff was great. We had a great weekend!

I call this place the Red Neck Hotel. If it was half the price we paid , my rating would be higher. Room was under construction, plumbing very noisy, spotty internet and a drunk sleeping in the Laundromat made it disappointing.

Enjoyed our visit a lot. The staff went above and beyond to meet our needs. Nice spot on the lake and lake view from every room which was a smart idea. Trivea night in the lounge was entertaining. Will stay again if in the area.

Overall nice hotel, only one in town! Love that each room had a balcony and a view of the lake. Walls are way too thin, spiderwebs could be wiped off on balconies. Restaurant is top quality. Super nice staff.

This is our second stay at Lakeside Lodge. We stayed in the upstairs pet friendly King room. There is an additional pet fee ($10.00 for small dogs) which was not expected but reasonable. The room is large, clean, comfortable, and quiet. The restaurant was busy with guests and locals probably because the food is good. There is a grocery store right next door. The lake view is nice! We enjoyed our stay and will be back.

For an older facility they have put effort and money into keeping it up. The staff was working hard and very helpful and friendly. The restaurant is going to get a good Yelp from me on it's own. The only disappointment was pretty impactful for me. The internet was non-existent. They provided Wi-Fi but it was constantly dropping and losing connection to the internet. There on call person didn't even know how to reset the modem. I had work to do that I couldn't get done.

I got sick the morning of traveling down there. I called and told them. They wouldn't listen, and just said I would be charged anyway and that's how it is. I've stayed there before and the property and manager are both great, as is the restaurant... So I guess the review is for Expedia. There's the reason I usually use Booking.
